Congrats to 55. Was a joy to watch him all the years creating memories. He definitely deserved it. Class act all the way.
Bucs have to be the only team to draft two HOFers in the same draft. Anyone think of another such occurrence?Love it! My favorite player is now in the HOF. Bucs aren't done yet. Hoping to see Lynch, Dungy, and Barber in there soon.

Ray Lewis and Jonathan Ogden were drafted in the 1st round together in 1996 by the Baltimore Ravens. I think the buccaneers are the 1st team to have two 1st ballot hall of famers to be drafted in the same round. has to automatically make that 95 draft one of the best in the history of the national football league
Ray is not in yet but he will be no doubt about that

Steelers drafted 4 Hall of Famers in 1974: Swann, Lambert, Stallworth, Webster.
Reed being in over Haley or Dungy is really lousy.
Dungy isn't getting in until he's too old to coach. Just how it rolls.Besides, everyon knows he is 100% guaranteed to get in eventually so it's not really an insult.

The Bears did it with Butkis & Sayers in the 1st round of the 65 draft.

It's proof of a great draft when it's only the 2nd time and all 4 players could be in the discussions for the greatest ever at their positions. You've got to imagine that Lewis and Ogden will be the 3rd in a few years and they are true HoFers too, none of this Hall of Very Good.
Yo man. This is great for a great man and great player. Congratultaions DB.Too bad Dungy and Lynch didn't come with him man.
Mr. Derrick Brooks! :)
