100% the cycle never ends.And I remember naïve fans claiming White would get better in coverage, he just needed more games under his belt. As of this dude ever shown good coverage skills at LSU. He is basically the same player he always has been. I hope people learned that understanding nuances isn't something that is guaranteed to happen over time. You either got it your don't, when it comes to instincts.
Those people were same ones saying the same thing about Mark Barron, Gaines Adams, etc.. "He's only going to get better!" No, all players don't get better. Some players get better, some players stay stagnant, and some get worse.
And no, those same people won't learn their lesson. There will be another player that those same simps will regurgitate their coach-speak nonstop. Such is life.

I had the good fortune to meet Quarles on the first or maybe second night he was here, from the CFl, I think. He was a humble (and a bit scared) kid just hoping to make the team. Man, he took it the distance in his career.
Devin White is like a heat seeking missle. He can either run towards a QB or RB. Granted he’s very fast, unfortunately…I’m not sure what else he brings to the table…??? At this point, I got nothing. But even still I hope he serves me some delicious crow!!!!
