The hope would be that Devin white was humbled a bit by (1) his benching last year (2) his lack of interest in offseason (3) his benching with eagles
is White more likely to flame out of the league then return to Bucs on vet min deal? Absolutely.
but have we not had success with last chance guys before - Leonard fournette, Antonio brown, baker mayfield to name a few
reasonable take even though I also think its unlikely ("is White more likely to flame out of the league then return to Bucs on vet min deal? Absolutely.")
well if he is cut then you have to ask does he suck more than JJ Russell or whatever UPS driver they pull off the streets?
I didn’t realize our only option was Russell or White.
Damn, that sucks to only have that option.
After what transpired last season, on the field and off, I would be stunned to see Devin White in a Buccaneer uniform again.
Absolutely blows my mind that there are already multiple people in this thread who would take him back.
Smfh…
I'm not sure what is more humorous, that or the loon thinking White would have prevented those TD's.
Right?
Its as if we’ve never watched Devin’s athleticism get burned multiple times because of his complete absence of any football-IQ, horrible angles, inability to process what’s in front of him, etc.
Thats not factoring his shit personality. His shit attitude. His shit play.
Yet, there are still posters on here defending this jagoff. Lol.
DH, not everyone sees the world as "bad is bad in all respects"
shit personality. His shit attitude. His shit play.
Bu even with that, most (every?) poster here agrees with that exact point.
The counter is not unreasonable though. It is just that we are thin at LB and now relying on a guy (Britt) whose lack of athleticism has cost us on several plays . . according to Josh Q!!
On one of those plays, which I posted here, anyone can see that Josh Q is right that Britt's lack of speed gave up that touchdown. And, it certainly possible to claim (because its just a hypothetical) that White would not have diagnosed the play the same as Britt ( laughable to me because of the play, bit to each their own)
BUT what should be undeniable . . should be. . . is that IN THE SAME spot White has the speed to get there, speed that Britt clearly lacks?
Agree with the part in bold?
Well, White isn't an option at present, and OK a normal person would be able to detect some hyperbole there. We actually have two more LBs on the practice squad. Vi Jones has been around the league since 2022 and has three games and zero tackles. UDFA Kalen DeLoach didn't even make the practice squad out of camp, and was just put on it. When I say "UPS Drivers" I'm talking about guys who are basically just training camp bodies. I have to believe Devin White would be better than that.well if he is cut then you have to ask does he suck more than JJ Russell or whatever UPS driver they pull off the streets?

Overall, Britt was a major culprit in Tampa Bay’s struggles to cover the middle of the field, and Kirk Cousins exploited that area all night
its almost like the guys who claim “football acumen” ….
