5 Most Underrated Prospects In The 2014 Draft By David Levin April 16, 2014 9:39 am Under_Zpsf4D70652.JpgDee FordFor every Anthony Bell, a top fve NFL Draft pick that was not only a shock to the fans but ot the NFL and its media, there are a dozen or so Tom Bradys. Not the player with the the talent, but the player who is drafted late in the game and comes off the bench to marvel and lead and most of all, win,The NFL Draft always provides us with a washout player- the one who every team wanted and did not get, but was glad they did not pick the player when he fades away after a year or two. This article is about the player who flies way low on the radar, below the Mendoza Line and shocks everyone with their talents. These players may not have gotten the accolades in school or proved to be the best at the Scouting Combine, but they will exceed expectations on the next level. Here are the five underrated players in this Draft.Jarvis Landry, Wide Receiver, LSUOdell Beckham Jr., Landry's receiving mate gets all the headlines, but in the end t may be Landry who oproves to be the best receiver in this class. Nice size, nice speed, solid player.Ryan Shazier, Linebacker, Ohio StateThe Buckeyes continue to spit out great linebackers and Shazier continues that tradition. Strong middle backer who stufs the run and chases down tight ends in coverage.Dee Ford, Defensive End, AuburnWhen you look at this Draft five years from now, the three defensive names that will stick out are going to be Jadeveon Clowney, Khalil Mack and Ford of Auburn. A rush end in college who could see some time at outside linebacker and edge rusher.Marcus Roberson, Defensive Back, FloridaThe University of Florida did not have a stellar season in 2013, but that was not because of its secondary. Roberson will be one of three defensive backs to be chosen in the second round from Gainesville. He is an intense player and a solid hitter.DaQuan Jones, Defensive Tackle, Penn StateHe may be a bit undersized but he is huge and plugs the gap. Will be a solid player a team takes a chance on in the third round. Jones has a chance to be a special player.5 Most Overrated Prospects In The 2014 Draft By David Levin April 16, 2014 9:35 am Under1_Zpse0594Fff.jpgMike EvansThis is why I love the NFL Draft. The difference between a stud and a dud could be the difference betwen the first overall pick and the fifth overall selection.Players show off their skills,  run insane 40-times and squat and lift outrageous amounts of weight. But those feats are done without the help of pads, helmets and live offenses and defenses. And as the the Drfat gets closer there are those players that catch fire from a rumor, a private workout or the media drinking the Koolaid in an efort to drum up support. This is what you call a Drew Rosenhaus special. These are five most overrated players in this NFL Draft.Mike Evans, Wide Receiver, Texas A&MThe tall, solid receiver made Johnny Manziel look pretty good in two seasons and vice versa. Evans skills are undeniable, but he is also a bit of a hot head and while he looks good and has size like Calvin Johnson, he is could be overvalued in the draft. Teams that need a top flight receiver will jump at him.James Wilder, Jr., Running Back, FSUWilder's daddy was a stud in the NFL with the Buccaneers. Now he wants to follow in his footsteps. While Wilder could be a solid backup in the NFL, he is not a starter in this league and his 40-time is as hot and cold. Some team (Tampa Bay) will bite on him and get nothing in return.Morgan Moses, Tackle, VirginiaHe could be a real stud in the NFL and could also be a real bust. The risk/reward on him is great. Moses pushed around top defenders in the ACC and could be a dominant tackle for the right team. He could also fall flat on his face.Johnny Manziel, Quarterback, Texas A&MDo we really need to address this one? Manizel is all over the board as a passer, but there is no doubt he will be a real talent of some sort in the NFL.Dominique Easley, Defensive Tackle, FloridaFor all the talent in the draft that came from Gainesville you wonder why the Gators only won four games. Easley was injured most of last season and still given a second round grade. That is way too high. http://www.footballnation.com/content/5-most-overrated-prospects-the-2014-draft/29155/
