I really want to be excited about the chance to take Mariota or Winston, but it's incredibly difficult. Jameis, to an extent, I can believe him because I can see him somewhat telling Lovie and whatever hack he hires to just let him roll, but Mariota seems too coachable and too unique of a player to just fit in whatever outdated system Lovie 100% is going to bring in this off-season.I have no confidence in Lovie's ability to gauge talent and understand the make-up of the modern day NFL. No matter who we draft, I can't help but think we're going to bring in some trash coach who will run whatever talent we have into the ground.I can't be the only one who feels that way right? I know we're supposed to "trust the team" but what evidence have they given us that they at all deserve the benefit of the doubt? Lovie went and basically created an offensive staff around unsuccessful college coaches and Cleveland Browns cast offs. Why do we expect anything different this time around?
