The fact that Hickey is obviously not a candidate hire and also what 3rd or 4th on the Fish radar. Two people turn down the job in a span of 24 hours. You almost wonder if they hired Hickey because they knew he'd accept since he is about 4 months away from being unemployed.
Im apathetic to this move. Really don't care. However, I am curious to know what Hickey has done to raise the ire of the Red Board. I get that he was a front office type and we have some pretty questionable if not horrific signings and draftees over the years. However, how do we KNOW how HE impacted the team? Anyone have any specifics?
I also don't know enough about his impact on Buc drafting to form an intelligent opinion but it seems there was a 'marked' (pun intended) difference to previous draft strategy when Schiano and Stokes were hired. I do recall reading somewhere (possibly here) last year that Hickey had fallen out of favor but perhaps I'm just inserting a bit of Campbell's soup into the mix (pun intended).

Oh, dude, that's painful. Clever, but painful. :)
LOL....couldn't resist
