"Unless the Bucs go in another direction, you can expect the same schemes to return and the same mistakes to be repeated next season, even if they fire both coordinators. As long as Schiano returns, the philosophy won't change, and promoting new coordinators from within isn't going to bring any real change. Same process, different people, same results." http://www.bucsnation.com/2013/12/27/5248170/changes-coming-to-buccaneers-coaching-staff-even-if-greg-schiano

This is what is going to happen next season.

I'm so excited!!!

Mike Glennon = Bruce Gradkowski. Played well the first few games but is nothing more than a back up in this league....

The Buccaneer defense has gone from a joke in 2011, to best in the league in defending the run in 2012, to respectable in 2013. The next step is feared in 2014. The offense was the most prolific in franchise history, ranking in the top ten, with Josh Freeman at QB. It could have been even better if Freeman actually wanted to be here, but Freeman tanked it in order to get released. He will live to regret that, if he doesn't already. I believe Schiano will get the offense fixed for 2014. Freeman was the turd in the punchbowl. He's gone. Beef up the OL. Get a TE that can block AND catch the ball, and get a speed receiver. The defense needs an edge rusher. I'm pretty sure we'll have a new OC and a few other coaching changes. A fresh start for Glennon should help He's never had a full contingent of starters around him. Schiano has tried to fix everything all at once. It's just not possible, but he has made a radical change when the players he has brought in have been healthy. The biggest impact has been on defense so far. I want to see what he has in mind for the offense.I'm guessing most of you bandwagon fans weren't around back in the '80s and '90s. Go ahead and bail on the Bucs if Schiano stays. No big loss. You aren't worthy. You're quitters. I'm a fan of the team. I rooted for Gruden to have success, because that meant wins for the team, but I tired of poor drafts and signing other teams' castoffs. Schiano's drafts have been great and I want that to continue. Great coaches don't become great without great players. I believe the pieces are coming together. I also believe most of the posts in this thread are childish and impatient. You focus on the negative and completely ignore the positives.

Who has said they're going to bail if Schiano stays? I will be furious, but I will never stop rooting for the team. I'm way too passionate about the Bucs to ever give up on them. Some people, including me, have said we won't continue investing our money into the team if Schiano stays, but that doesn't mean we are going to stop watching. And Schiano isn't even the reason I'd stop supporting the team financially. That lies on the hands of the Glazer boys and them not giving a shit about the team or its fans that have been watching this garbage for a decade now.

The Glazer boys are good with mediocrity as long as they get theirs...and they will...That's all it's about people...they don't care or have any pride in putting an entertaining, winning, competitive team out there...it's just about the money and that is it...That's cool for them...sucks for the fan base...Until they sell the team or change their mindset and put someone that knows how to build and run an NFL team in charge then nothing will change.  But we all know that hell will freeze twice over before any of that happens.

Honestly, what in the hell do you think he's going to bring to this offense? More conservative play calling?

I know exactly what you're saying and that's why I am not going to games and buying merchandise if Schiano is brought back. I will still watch the games on TV though.

you stated your opinion about Schiano and this team before the season and were pretty much wrong on all accounts.

On the bright side, if Schiano stays we have to be the favorites for Winston in 2015.....
