At the least, the backup QB exceeded expectations, which is a win for Schiano and not spin.I hope there's competition for Glennon, as we've got to get the QB position right. The second round looks like it'll have some interesting options this year, poor historical trends notwithstanding. First round QB next year if (when?) we crash and burn.

...me? For the record I want Schiano gone and some non-JFF competition at QB, but Glennon is a plus for him. Pick another team, wipe out their starting QB, and tell them to pick a QB in the draft outside the first round. The results would not look pretty. Glennon has exceeded the majority's low expectations and looks like the best QB out of a bad draft class. Case Keenum crashed and burned. Geno Smith might not start next year, which is the best possible outcome for their GM whiffing on that pick.

This was the first season in 26 years since I've moved back into the area that I did not go to at least one game.If Schiano stays, 2014 will be the 2nd year I do not go to a game. This guy is a bum, totally in over his head, and Dominik is garbage also. Either change out the entire staff top to bottom and bring in some football people or tell the Glazers to change their name to CULVERHOUSE!

Keep in mind the QB he origionally wanted is playing for a playoff spot right now (Palmer). It was never officially published but it was hinted at that the reason Palmer didn't come here was that he wanted a guarantee to start. Because of higher powers Schiano could not give him that. That 4-13 rookie was the best he could get with the resources at hand.
I heard Palmer did want to come here , but the Raiders didn't really want to deal with us again.
