Dotson back and healthy, but may not be startingGreg Auman, Times Staff WriterWednesday, November 4, 2015DIRK SHADD | TimesDemar Dotson is healthy and eligible to play this week, but he said he isn't sure if he'll return to his starting role at right tackle.Bucs right tackle Demar Dotson, who has missed the first seven games recovering from a preseason knee injury, is back healthy and eligible to play this week, but he said he isn't sure if he'll return to his starting role at right tackle."I just can't wait to get back out there," Dotson said. "That's what I'm waiting for. I can't wait for that opportunity to get back out there and compete with those guys. They're doing a great job."The Bucs have had veteran Gosder Cherilus in at right tackle for every snap this season -- the line has played surprisingly well, despite having two rookies starting and two starters who were signed off the street to replace Dotson and Joe Hawley for center Evan Smith. Hawley has kept his starting job despite Smith returning healthy, and the same could happen with Cherilus."They've doing a phenomenal job -- they have a continuity going," Dotson said. "All five guys are playing real good, playing great together, playing with a lot of effort and tenacity. That's something we haven't had around here in a long time."Dotson said when he went out to Wednesday morning's walkthrough practice and was still working with the scout team -- "same old, same old," he said."They haven't told me anything," Dotson said. "Out there on the scout team, nothing changed. I'm just going as I've been going last couple of weeks. I definitely feel ready to go."
