Broncos might rest their starters
Having to draft another QB is depressing ....I was really hoping we could finish strong and then focus on fixing the pass rush and/or adding some more skill weapons on offense. Now we're going to have a new regime and be reaching for a David Carr type player.....then it's rookie growing pains all over again next season....Barf...
if we take a QB this season it will be completely clear to me that this organization has no idea what it is doing. I don't care what some of the dumbasses on here say, Glennon deserves another season with an actual NFL caliber supporting cast, not this crapshow weve trotted out for most of the season. im astounded that hes played as well as he has given the lack of weapons, protection, and competent coachingWe absolutely have to fix our protection issues up front and draft a passrusher. if we don't go with a DE or an OT or trade back and grab a TE this draft will be a complete and utter failure and set the team back even farther
I agree with both of these points. I'm not saying Glennon is HoF bound, but he has done enough to earn another chance. I really wonder if some of you guys even watch the games. Name me a QB that could have performed well today. No QB looks good when they get plowed before they even finish their dropback. Add to that the starting runningback finishing with <2 ypc and that is just tossing your QB into a blender.I hope we announce the hiring of Lovie Smith in 9 or 10 days. I also hope he gives Glennon a fair chance.

With some hope and luck we will hire Darrell Bevell from Seattle and Draft Manziel to be our R Wilson.

The QB isn't the problem (though I don't think Glennon is an answer either), the GM and coach have to go. It doesn't matter who the QB is, he will fail under the both or even either Schiano and/or Dominik. Lovie isn't the answer either. It's pretty simple though, if Schiano is still here, so will Glennon be. If he's not, the new HC will probably bring in his own guy.

I'd be ok with Bevell, not Manziel though. I'm fine with him playing elsewhere.

Colts, Denver, and the Panthers have nothing to play for right now. They should be resting starters the last week.

Actually, ALL 3 do have something to play for.If Denver loses and NE wins, the Pats get the #1 seed. If Denver wins, Denver gets the #1 seedIf the Colts win and NE loses, the Colts get a bye.If Carolina loses and the Saints win, the Saints get the #2 seed and the Panthers get the #5 seed... they'll get the #6 seed if the Niners beat the Falcons tonight and next week.

Denver has a first round bye already. All they can try for is home field through out. Not worth injury.
I doubt any coach would agree with you.
#9 if we win.
LOL

I have a friend who's a Saints fan trying to tell me that "Tampa has a good chance of winning next week". It's cute, I can only assume he's trying to avoid jinxing them.

Home field could be titanic in the AFC playoffs. They're going to play it out.
Call me silly, but I maybe... MAYBE keep Peyton in to give him a shot at the single season passing yards record. Then pull him at half time. Maybe sooner. He needs 260+ yards. He got 400 last week. I understand the logic behind home field advantage, but dude is too important to play him the entire game if at all. JMO

Exactly. Virtually every single playoff team still has something to play for.
