Drafting (bad) RBs over (good) CBs

Last year there were a lot of us who wanted the Ronde Barber-like Desmond King and figured he would be a late 4th or early 5th.

We desperately needed CB help, King was there in the 5th, and it wouldn’t have taken much to move up the few spots to get him.

What does Licht and company do?

Stands pat and takes the RB that won’t even make the opening day roster of course!

How is King doing in his 2nd year in the league?

After a rookie year where he had 76 Tackles, 4 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 TD, 6 TFLs, 5 QB Hits, 5 PDs...he’s one of the best CBs in the league.

Highest coverage grade in the league at 90.5, 3 Ints, TD, 10 PDs. Very likely to be All Pro.
