For everyone saying it's clear that Glennon isn't the guy after the Rams game. Let's compare Glennon to Drew Brees in St. Louis in Week 15. Brees 39/56 393 yards 69.6 % 1TD 2 Picks Rating 80.4 Glennon 18/34 179 yards 52.9 % 0TD 0 Picks Rating 75.5Now this is one of the top 3 QBs in the game vs a rookie in the same situation. Glennon didn't throw for nearly as many yards, but he didn't throw the picks either. The point is that those of you saying that Glennon sucks because he couldn't get it done in a very tough environment and situation are just being way over-presumptive. Am I saying Glennon should be handed the starting job going into next year? No. But drafting a QB top 10 isn't the answer either, especially in this draft. I also would be surprised if Glennon isn't a much better QB next year.
The problem isn't that Glennon didn't have a bad game it is that he's not having any really good games either. He's had a couple of very high rating games but he hasn't gone out and blown up for a 300 yard game which I think is what folks want to see. He has shown enou I want to see more but there also needs to be a backup plan in place because while he has shown something he's also shown us the way to the 32nd ranked passing game too.
Sweet sample size bro.
It's so fun to use 1 game comparisons, here let me try...Brees 30/39 413 yards 76.9% 4TD 0 INTs Rating 144.5Show me a game where Glennon puts up that kind of stat line, sure he may have a few games from where there was no game tape of him and he padded his QB Rating with safe throws but where the game where he's the difference maker (in a positive way.BTW Mikes numbers vs that same team (Miami)...11/21 139 yards 52.4 % 1 TD 1 INT Rating 69.3

The reason Drew Brees is Drew Brees is because he has the guts to try difficult throws in tough situations. Sometimes you're going to throw picks. If Drew Brees played scared and wouldn't throw a pass that might get intercepted, he wouldn't be Drew Brees, he'd be Mike Glennon.
Switch glennon with brees and those numbers would get much closer...
Brees is in a far better system. That might be a factor.
Is this thread a joke?
Can't even compare the two.

Damn frg, nail meet head.
"If Drew Brees played scared and wouldn't throw a pass that might get intercepted, he wouldn't be Drew Brees, he'd be Mike Glennon."So as soon as Glennon gains some confidence he'll play like Drew Brees?
Well, to gain confidence he would have to play badly enough that schiano gets the boot.Catch 22.

You say that as though it's a given...
This is like watching the Freepologists defending Freeman with their selective use of stats.
