They are gonna try to out physical us in the trench level and from linebacker play, I remember so vividly when an anzalone blew up a run play cause otton wasn’t ready for the physicality, Detroit plays hard and very physical we got be ready to hit them back. The team has gotten mentally tougher they need to go into Detroit hostile environment with man on the mission mindset.Detroit is gonna hit us in the mouth but have to be ready to hit back and dawg it out “Give me everything you got, I will not be stopped”
They are gonna try to out physical us in the trench leve
I have no idea why the Eagles so quickly abandoned the run last night. The game was still in reach.
we played great all around but they definitely have some issues
Tougher game than the Eagles. They will keep running. Home crowd. Very together team

2nd and longs and they thought wed go back into c3 to catch us but we outcoached out gameplanned, they also couldnt run against us they felt the gaps closing and we were up 10-0 so we broke them mentally where they started forcing thing. Theres a certain vibe to the game where you can feel your opponent reeling and this was that game where eagles felt mentally broken and didnt have it in them to stroke a long drive on us. They wanted it easy we didnt give it to them easy so they started forcing thigns hoping to get lucky.
Detroit is a mentally tougher team, they don't blink we have to match that and be ready to dawg it out, and keep hitting, Amon rah(dawg) needs to be tattooed and wrapped up dont let them yac us
Will our top receivers show up?
“
Nacua, who Gardner-Johnson said was similar to Godwin, had nine catches for 181 yards and a touchdown Sunday, the fourth straight week the Lions have allowed a 100-yard receiver.
Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson had 12 catches for 192 yards and a touchdown against the Lions in Week 18, Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb went for 13 catches, 227 yards and a score in Week 17, and Jefferson had six catches for 141 yards and a touchdown in Week 16.”
Does anybody know who this DEI-hire is?
During Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles’ news conference Tuesday, a reporter cited the cold temperatures around the league for the first weekend of the playoffs and asked an important question: “Today, it’s 13 (degrees) in Detroit, which doesn’t compare to some of the temperatures … Any special plans to acclimate the team to not only endure, but perform in those kind of frigid temperatures, should you face them in Detroit?”

I heard that on the radio this morning. LOL!

Bowles handled that moron's question very gracefully. But the look on his face while doing it was comical.
CJ Gardner Johnson already taking shots at Tampa's QB:
The Bucs have one of the best receiving tandems in the NFL in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who Lions safety CJ Gardner-Johnson compared last week to the Rams duo of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, while taking a shot at Mayfield.
"This group probably is one of the better groups we done faced all year, besides that Tampa group." Gardner-Johnson said.
"If you give that Tampa group a good quarterback, that's a great group"
No doubt that CJ Gardner quote will be up on the Bucs blackboard this week! Love it. Exactly Mayfield's rallying cry for the team all year
I think maybe Gardner is mostly intending to compliment the Rams receivers though? By comparing them to last years Bucs receivers with Brady? He mentions Gage and he even references Brady later in that interview when the low blow comes up? Maybe not . Giving him huge benefit of doubt. It's a shot at Mayfield either way, but even the interview that is before he knows they will pay us? I think? Day before?
Still funny, but probably also overshadowed by the fact that his counterpart is taking out TEs lol. Watch out Cade! And he defended him by calling out Stafford . .. using Brady as his defense lol.
"Joseph hit Higbee directly in the legs. The Rams reportedly feared he had torn his ACL on the play.
Joseph’s teammate, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, pushed back on criticism after the team eked out a 24-23 win.
"If anybody on the Rams feels like it was dirty, well tell his quarterback don't put the ball in a place where he can get his player hurt," Gardner-Johnson told reporters, via TMZ Sports.
Gardner-Johnson pointed to what Tom Brady wrote on Instagram last month,"
I didnt see the Hockenson hit by the same Lions safety, but the injuries are portrayed as a trend based on the play of Gardner's teammate.
I think that means Winfield is supposed to take out La Porta early? And blame Goff?
I hope we destroy the Lions. Tough matchup though
Geez, terrible journalism.Does anybody know who this DEI-hire is?

Looking forward to this one. We aren't playing against a self-destructed team so this game will be harder than Monday night.CJ Gardner Johnson already taking shots at Tampa's QB:

Great response by Mayfield
I don't think he's really watched film because he mentioned Russell Gage. You know, we love Russell, but he hasn’t played a snap this year for us. He must be going off the preseason stuff the media was talking about, but he didn't play our first game so I'm excited to see him.
"I think he's a really good player. He has been for a while. He's been an impactful guy on every team he's been on. He's a good player but, yeah, just got to do a little bit more film study."
Campbell
“They’re another one of these hottest teams going getting into the playoffs. So, they’re doing things right. They had to find a way to get over the hump and clean a few things up, but they never got panicked and never went in the tank.”
Or, as Campbell succinctly surmised,
“This is a better team than when we faced them. They’re playing better football, but we’re better too.”
