Uhm what does C0 and C1, C3, Quarters mean???? Pardon my ignorance. I likes sacks, interceptions, tackles for a loss etc. On offense, who doesn’t like a trick play, long bomb, short pass with Gwin lvl blasting, I love tough physical runs with yards after contact as much as I love a hand off and a lightning dash to the ez ezily without being touched. I love a TD pass with the clock running out. In fact one of the most memorable passes in my football memory was a pass From Josh Freeman to Cadillac Williams with 10 seconds left to play on Oct 24th 2010. That was my first game, what I mean is that was the first football game I had ever attended in person (not counting attending high school fb games on Friday nights while looking for tail). Not only was it my first game Eva, but that play happened like right in front of me just cuz of where we were seated. I won’t ever forget that. I also won’t ever forget that when the team was standing in a group in between plays, Freeman always stood by himself and away from his team, unfortunately that may have been his biggest weakness, he only cared about himself. Anyway, that took a tangent. Yeah, teach me basics bishes so I can better participate in these discussions.
It's just the kind of coverage defenses will typically run, as you get into higher level of college nfl play there will be some variations that plays of routes and things like that, but to keep it simple they are typically coverages man(c0,c1) and zone(c2,c3,c4) responsibilities in certain coverages.
Cover 0 no safety, cover 1-1 deep safety, cover 2 - deep safety, cover 3 - 3 people cover deep thirds, cover 4(quarters) -cover deep fourths
I googled the first link for you if you wanna read more. https://www.viqtorysports.com/defensive-coverages-in-football-complete-guide/ (don't buy anything i just googled the link) enjoy
Typically you won't know the coverages on just the tv because we would need the all 22 view so we can identify the deep coverage because we can only see within 15yards of the offense.
Looking at the Lions/Rams film, it looks like early on Detroit sold out on trying to shut down Kyren.
Lots of C1 and C0.
Yep lots of cover 1 and 0, do I think they do the same I don’t think so, they’re gonna dare baker to throw and disguise much better due to how successful we were to eagles c1
Haven't watched a lot of their games (only against the Rams and against us).
But, I agree with you.
I expect lots of disguised C3 and Quarters. Challenging us to beat them on the ground.
But, I wouldn't be surprised if they run a good mix of C1 considering how bad Baker played against them a few months ago.
Canales will need to be on his A-game with the game plan.
For sure a lot of GB gameplan was designed to beat c2 c3 zone and I do hope they play a lot more c1 against us because otton has shown to be a mismatch if hes on a Lb and Baker has grown to trust him 7 catches for 89 yards is a chain moving stat especially when he did it against all man coverage
it was a few months ago, I don’t remember other than offense must have been shit.
First, you were pretty confident that the OC didn't call a good game, but now you don't remember as it was a few months ago.
Weird...
Let’s see if we can find some common ground. How about a recent shit performance. The saints game?
Sure. Would love to find some common ground.
I'm talking about a game that we played THIS SEASON against the team we're playing THIS WEEKEND.
You are talking about...checks notes...the Saints.
Weird...
Would you agree or was Canales just as flawless and just shit Brady execution…errr I mean baker
Deflection from a dipshit.
Weird...
back to immature name calling. got to love it
Dipshit? this coming from a guy who is of the 2% that thinks Baker didnt have a good year. Which one of us is the delusional dipshit again? whatever makes you feel better silly goose
Key player for the Bucs: Calijah Kancey
The Bucs most important player on defense is Kancey. He's developing into the most dangerous player on the Bucs defense along with Winfield of course. Kancey could wreck the Lions if they don't prepare enough for him. If the Bucs win, Kancey will be the defensive MVP of the game IMO.
Key player for the Lions: Sam Laporta.
The Lions will probably want to put the defense on their heels a bit. Goff will get rid of the ball quickly, and LaPorta will be the guy they will go to. I know David locked him down pretty good last time for 36 yards, but I think whether the Lions win or lose the Bucs will get a heavy dose of passes to LaPorta and Gibbs out of the backfield as they try to make the Bucs think hard before they send in the blitzes. I hope I'm wrong and I hope David can lock him down once again.

I think that’s right

Can you show me where I said that, AB 2.0?

I hope the Bucs can generate good pressure with 4-5.
And, if they bring more, I hope the DB’s are pressing and not playing 10-12 yards off.
Otherwise, it could be a really long day.
The view from Detroit:
”Many in Detroit have already pointed out how much more healthy the Lions are than they were three months ago. In that game, the Lions were missing Jonah Jackson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Brian Branch, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and early in the second quarter, they lost David Montgomery, as well.”
They go on to say that the first game was closer than the score indicated and Mayfield is playing much better now
Did it seem that we played more MAN DEFENSE against Philthadelphia than we normally do?
Playing MAN and getting pressure on QB again is critical to success vs. Lions, imo.
Goff ate our lunch in 1st matchup...
I'm in favor of a bench player going over to Dan Campbell before the game and SLUGGING HIM IN THE F*N MOUTH for supporting his players' dirty moves.
He'd REALLY be talking postgame like he had a mouthful of rocks!!!
Michael Irvin says the Bucs have no chance
key Johnson says we do if we can pass block
“If the Bucs pass block, per Johnson, the Bucs have a true “puncher’s chance” of knocking out the Lions because their defensive backfield is so bad.”
I think the only pundits to pick the Bucs straight up were Pete Prisco and skip bayless
we have a shot! We are being underestimated but we are indeed playing with house money when it comes to non bias not Buc fans
if you create enough pressure any qb will get into troubles, so not a science fiction 😀 just remember mahomes in the superbowl
