McCollum - he needs to take a pay cut like Dean. Constantly beat. Way overpaid. Maybe he can play slot, idk... I can't watch his shit technique and massive cushion anymore.
Dennis - move him to special teams. Not only is he awful but his effort is trash. I watched him loaf all game.
David - time to retire. Hopefully we see you in Canton buddy, but you're a year overdue from retirement.
Otton - soft, yips, and a below average blocker. Payne can go with him.
Reddick - it was a good gamble but he's obviously toast. Money would have been better spent on a MLB.
Barton - he can stay but slide him to guard or keep him for depth but he's not an NFL center.
Bridgewater - wtf was Licht thinking with this signing? I'll live with Trask. Bridgewater can coach but take the jersey off.
The entire special teams unit and coaching staff outside of McLaughlin - it's inexcusable that we haven't made a change already.
Grizz - I've seen enough. He's not the guy. He wasn't ready... The little success he had was on the back of Baker early magic and ad libs.
Bowles - still a problem as a HC/identity. I'm not even mad at his defense... It's not great but some of these players simply are not NFL starters. It's the identity of this team. He cannot get the team to show up in big moments. We are soft. We are undisciplined. Every game is an adventure without a game plan. We have no killer instinct.
Yeah I am going to disagree. No point throwing half the team, coaches and Bucs FO staff out the window and under the bus based on a few game stretch. The mid season slides of 2024 and 2023 were worse than this current slide before yesterdays game against the Cards, so this is why Bowles has to rally his troops around for the final stretch.
McCollum and Dean are both using large cushion technique so no one can pin point it all on one DB. This is what they are coached to do if you see a young guy and a vet do the same thing.
Dennis has been up and down but the coaching staff wants to see it through because the other guys would have been on the field by now over him.
LVD definitely is showing signs of age but he isn't main problem with the defense.
Otton was a very reliable blocker earlier in the season when the Bucs had no OL worth a damn. I wouldn't throw him under the bus because of a few bad games.
Reddick is paying off big time because Diaby is starting to develop nicely and if Reddick helps Diaby exceed his rookie sack numbers or reach double digits that is a huge W.
Barton definitely has the athletic traits you want in an NFL center because he showed his chops at LT with quick feet and does have a stronger base. Barton has had to deal with a lot of new faces playing next to him which is tough.
Bridgewater is just a stop gap like Trask don't see the difference overall. I personally prefer Trask over Bridgewater but in the end you need to accept that a backup is a backup.
ST definitely has been an issue throughout the year but I think injuries to the OL has forced STs to be short. Losing special teams aces to IR doesn't help either.
Grizzard has shown me more the last few weeks because you want to see how a coach handles the highs and lows. Grizzard is flying with passing colors so far as a rookie OC IMVHO.
Bowles - The secondary is full of NFL caliber talent to be starters so I am not agreeing here. Reddick and Diaby are starters along with Vea and Gaines. Outside of maybe Dennis I am going to disagree right there with you. Dennis is the only questionable starter on defense in terms of long term starter potential but there are many games left to see what tape he puts up.
This is a list I fully support. Well done OP.
you only forgot to add Braswell. I’m done with this bust. Don’t need to see any more.
1 - McCollum was a bad signing but we knew that as soon as it happened
he had 1 year as starter and we don't even let him play out this year? foolish.
Would argue this move was more puzzling that the already puzzling premature extension of Bowles in the summer. We just drafted 2 cornerbacks high, it's almost like we had the leverage and went ahead and signed him prematurely anyway.
2 - Reddick was a miss but then again, glad they at least tried. Drafting hasn't worked for us in that department.
3- Otton. Good riddance. i dont think i will ever forget his 2 INTs and he may be known for that in terms of just what a bitch he is. Go play for the Browns or Titans cuz.
4 - Bridgewater...yeah he looked like a retired man. We need to get a veteran back-up this offseason but one that has played football in the 2020s lol
5 - no doubt we need to invest in ILB this offseason
6 - i wouldnt be surprised that if another disappointing premature exit from playoffs that they retain Bowles but have him hire a new coaching staff...think Eagles with Sirianni after the 2023 season.
2 - Reddick was a miss but then again, glad they at least tried
He hasn't delivered the sacks, but he is definitely having an impact.
If you watch Diaby's hustle sack on the second series of the second quarter, Brissett is flushed because Diaby is going one on one with their LT and cuts inside. He's going one on one because the RB has gone over to help on Reddick, so Reddick is the one drawing the double team
I think Diaby only had one sack while Reddick was out and 3 or 4 when he was in.
Reddick is tough to gauge because he keeps being asked to drop in coverage. I'm fine with the signing and maybe he gives us a few plays down the stretch but 10m would have been better spent on a good ILB
Braswell is a bust as well, no doubt.

Yes Braswell seems a bust and I get the point on Reddick too. I guess the bright side, if you want to call it that, is that Diaby might be a reliable 8-10 sack guy with a competent player on the other side.
He's already a disruptive run stopper etc, so for a 3rd round pick that would be a pretty good outcome.
mccollum needs to go, together with bowles

Diaby was a good pick just like Nelson... But they aren't game changers. They don't have the quick twitch motor.
Draft should be focused on WR/TE/LB/EDGE (early only). Same with FA.
Mccolllum is a good #2 but he's not cerebral or technique sound enough to cover #1's so anytime he's on a #1 i expect him to lose...but if hes on a #2-5 i expect him to win
Otton route tree has been about all checkdowns, .....those 6'5 tightends you wanna be able to send them down the seams or post just because of their big body to take punishment from the safety and the height to catch high over the middle throws so you dont have to drop it in a bucket over the LB's theres more room for error for the qb, but hes not being used for that.
Kinda big gripe for me in the grizzard offense cause Big body tightends are the easiest to throw too over the middle if they got good hands and body control, but we kinda just use him for checkdowns when I think we can send a back to give the same levels concept and also gives the back more space if bakers does checkdown cause the lbs see him leave the backfield vs seeing a man on the los going for a pass
We shoudl add a little wrinkle for him that lets him run an option post/corner/curl depending on what he see's if we trust him.
