Why is he still on the roster? He is not sure handed and contributes nothing on offense. I recall Preston Parker being released after he had problems with fumbles. He did however contribute quite a bit in the slot.
Wasn't his fault, but dumb call in the first place.
I don't think I have ever seen a reverse on a kickoff work.

Page didn't fumble the ball. Sheppard did. It was a clean hand-off by Page. Sheppard slipped and dropped the ball.
I wonder if that was called or if he was adlibbing.
This thread is 100% fail. It wasn't Page's fault. If you want to blame anyone blame Schiano.
The way that Schiano always takes him in for talks, I think that he's one of Schiano's pet projects. If he were just an expendable player then Schiano would have cut him by now, but he probably has plans for him.

The guy came around...at worst it was a fake and Page got it wrong but looking at the replay it looks like Shepherd was expecting the ball.
Today wasn't page's fault. It was a stupid decision by our lame coaching staff and Sheppard fumbled the ball. The hand off from Page was clean. That said, Page sucks. He makes one idiot play every game and can be seen getting a talkin too by Schiano on the sideline. Dude adds nothing to the roster but Schiano obviously has a hard on for him.

Actually, it was Shepard's fault. But carry on with your crusade.
He is keeping Demps seat warm. I don't expect him back next season.
Page didn't do anything wrong. He got benched because Schiano is an idiot.

It was Shepard's fault, but I wonder why coaches don't call reverses on kickoffs all the time?
Just a dumb time to try that imo. As soon as I saw him bringing it out from deep in the endzone, I knew it was going to end badly. It was a 9 point game at that point. Take the fakking knee and start from the 20. Run the hurry up offense, which we had done good with and scored our only two TDs with, and try to make it a 2 point game. Trying some bullshot trickery right there was just a dumb decision. But it's not a surprise coming from this staff.
Page tries to hand the ball off running at full speed? Would have been much better off pitching the ball.
