by definition the season is a disappointing step back precisely because our fate is in a rivals hands.
That said though any win under those circumstance is worth a little fan happiness. The Bucs have been on a total nose dive and they just pulled it together enough to best a division rival who was playing for their FIRST playoff chance in years. And coached by a former Buc coach so you know he wanted it extra bad

In the rain when both teams had to run the Bucks defense totally fucking shut down the Panthers run game. Totally as in not a single run over 5 yard yards.
They did exactly what you would want them to do as a defensive game plan. They put the game in the hands of the quarterback, and they won with three turnovers along the way
There are probably zero Buck players happy with where the team sits overall but I guarantee you many of them were happy with the performance and the win last night under those circumstances.
