@ChefAaron2
The thing that would make GMC so much better is if he had harder skin. He’s way to sensitive and can’t take criticism

Find me a six time Pro Bowl player who will one day be in the Ring of Honor who has taken more abuse. Thin skin? smh.
@ChefAaron2
How bout blocking everyone that has a single critique on the man. Calling someone a coward just because they said he needs to do more in his leadership role, Yeah...THIN SKINNED.

Did you get blocked Aaron? So that makes him a bad football player? Who did he call a coward? The trolls? If he's half as tired as I am about this nonsense its understandable.

Sapp took abuse too. “He takes plays off...”. Yeah but he still occupies two guys. Not sure what fans expect from these guys.
@ChefAaron2
He called SR [Scott Reynolds] a coward after an article saying GMC needs to step up more in his leadership or step aside and give Kwon those duties. I think it was a very honest critique, yet GMC took it personally.

He took it personally because he may have felt that way. You don't know the relationships between players and media in that locker room. And I'm not judging what SR [Scott Reynolds] said. It's between those men.
@ChefAaron26
I realize I don’t, but I’m just saying he takes a simple critique as a slam. Hell, everyday at my job I’d rather hear my faults than my positives, it makes me better at my job. Criticism goes with every line of work, it’s all about building on it. I’ll agree that in some fans

Nine years. You think he hasn't heard enough? Ignored enough? Tolerated enough? 13 DL coaches. 4 HCs. 50 + linemates. He's the problem? ONE player? The dude has 99 to critique him. You think THIS is worse? You know nothing about the thickness of a man's skin.

GMC is one of the best interior defensive lineman this team has ever had. And one of the few, 1st rd picks that’s panned out. Give the guy a break, the team around him has been the problem, not him.

So here is a question... what about the Ian Beckles takes on Gerald? Is he unfound in what he says about Gerald?

Also. I like Gerald McCoy and think he’s a great player. But I’ve also been able to separate the comparison of him to Sapp.

What does your life (or mine for that matter) have to do with the argument? If you think he's the problem, you haven't been paying attention the last 10 yrs. And wouldn't someone at One Buc, two GMs, 3 HCs, 13 DL coaches, figured that out by now?

When he first got to the Bucs I did, but it just isn’t the case. He’s a really good DT. I think his early years when he kept bringing up how much he talked to sapp and saying he needed to carry the banner for him is still in everyone’s mind.

GMC is a heck of a player, but he isn't a natural leader. Sometimes your best player.may not be cut out to be that alpha dog(No slight on GMC). It is on the organization to recognize that and bring in an alpha dog.

Current team is built around Jameis Winston. He's an alpha and maybe the omega. 18 wins in three years. Takes more than one dog.
@cullison_eric
@NFLSTROUD so here’s a non GMC question... during the second day of the draft, Jason Licht brought up that typically the 2nd and 3rd round were the “need” rounds. Do you think that gives any insight to how he drafts? IE 1st will always be BPA. Afterwards fill needs

@NFLSTROUD

I think you always want to address need but in the first round, you have to get a difference maker regardless of need. You may not draft a QB or WR, but all other positions were possible.

Looks the part. Can't judge those guys until Aug. when the pads come on. But they may need two to block him so that will be interesting.
@TB_Bucs_4Life
Powerful is what everyone’s saying about Vea and he’s smart. The one point I would bring up about GMC is when he told Flabby Baker that hard count was coming and he still jumped offsides why did he not say something instead Kwon and JW did

Nobody knows what or if he said something. We only know Kwon and Jameis elevated the volume. And really, what was left to be said with one game left? The time for all of the talking should've been training camp.
