I’ve been watching the Buccaneers for Welling to 25 years. This season has me scratching my head as to how incomplete this team really is and how we drafted so crazy yet again. Well the obvious pick in round one was clearly going to be the edge rusher out of Kentucky Josh Allen, We decided to go after Devin white Despite the fact it left us in the same position we were in that was clearly a problem. I look at who we drafted a corner in the lead position and wonder why you take a kid out of a small school you never played against great competition at that higher level in round two. When it comes to the drafting of Matt gay. I wasn’t thrilled with it And frankly thought it was again a desperate reach by a desperate GM who is trying to redraft for all of his crappy drive pics from prior drafts.

I think this team desperately needs a punt returner with speed and vision and decisiveness. I don’t think the guy we have back there name Bobo Wilson is the answer by any means. It’s pretty obvious that this team does not have a Stream stratified properly In the salary cap. We have a very expensive tight end we don’t utilize and an extremely overpaid offensive line and slow small corners from prior drafts who aren’t skilled enough and have stiff hips and can’t even play safety.

Our GM was finally forced to acknowledge that Noah Spence was a complete bust by the new coaching staff even while their extensively used PR spin department tried to tell us during the preseason that he was improperly used and he was an ideal fit for the 34 defense being used as a an outside linebacker defense of edge rusher. This guy hasn’t been a decent player since his drafting day And he had injury problems even in college which this wonderful scouting department just ignored. It’s pretty obvious right now that we have a defense of coach who is better than last year and that Winston has shown improvement over last year with better coaching. He is by no means a finished product However I do see glimpses of hope with his decision making this year so far. I still don’t think we’re going to have a very successful season but it should be more interesting to watch than in prior years but we will see.

When I evaluate this team I think one of the biggest weaknesses which continues to plague this team is the general manager who just got renewed for five years which is hysterical to me as it’s proof that the Peter principle is alive and well.
That defines it’s a Buc’s Life.
