I watched the Saints game last night and they are just terrible in every facet of the game right now mainly due to injuries. Our running game against them cannot be judged because right now granny could get a 100 yards on them. Baltimore's run defense is the best and I doubt we get 75 yards on them so the only way we have a chance is to protect Baker and get the passing game going. I'd say our chances are very minimal to win. We just don't match up well against them.
Yep. It was a total fluke.
Should just pack it in now.

Yea 277 yds rushing is exciting, but rewatch and saints couldnt tackle set edges. Our game was definitely an outlier we hope to rush for 100 yards agame, i dont think were some 150yds per game rushing team when baker is putting up like 250yds a game(spitballing).
But i think we do matchup well with Baltimore. Theyre 31st in pass d? and we are good at stopping the run
The Ravens, Chiefs and 49ers are likely top 3 in Super Bowl odds
we win any of those games and we are a legit Super Bowl contender
glad it’s happening now because then maybe ill be on this trading draft capital for players before deadline to make a serious run
as I’ve said before, even if we lose the games we’re supposed to lose and end up at 5-5; this team will still win 10,11 games
If you watch only the Godwin TD highlight you will see a defeated Saints team missing easy tackles etc.
can’t read too much into the Saints game but one reason they were tackling so poorly at that point is we had beaten them up.
I don’t think we set the edge very well - and Lamar is just phenomenal at extending pockets & hitting big runs - advantage Baltimore. Derek Henry is just a beast that will be used like a battering ram. He’ll meet Vita and Calijah - so they’ll likely get King Henry active in the perimeter. Hopefully we will retain the health of Vita & just returned Calijah.
Their passing game is good because Lamar extends every play beyond the rushing angles - confusing zones, etc. They’re a problem because I often think Lamar doesn’t really know what he’s going to see until he manipulates with movement.
Our offensive strength has been short intermediate passing - with some explosive components - that looks to be our advantage.

I agree with you, especially as a gauge of things like determination and desire, but also have some mixed emotions about that game because without the Lions messing up a routine field goal try we may not have won.

And, while KC, Baltimore, and SF are more barometers; Atlanta is the most important.
