Maybe Hester as our KR/PR. Other than that I wouldn't mess with this FA class for a receiver. I think the 4th round of this draft should be reserved for a WR though, and maybe a 2nd one after that if the right guy is still there. Lots of WR talent in this draft. Not so much in FA.
Man, if we wait until rd 4 to draft a WR we're going to be seeing a lot more of Owusu and Underwood out there again next year. I agree that the FA selection is slim pickings.
If we are not going to take Watkins...The most realistic options would be:Andrew HawkinsAndre RobertsDoug Baldwin
I like Andre Roberts. Any of those guys play WR for Tedford at Cal

Not so much in FA.Maybe if we can get a solid guy cheap, cause we have zero depth and I don't want to ever see Owusu, or Underwood, or Page, or Dawson again. I just don't think there is anyone worth over paying. I still like Dane Sanzenbacher though and he was in Chicago with Lovie. Could be a cheap signing that pays off well.

Well I should have been more specific. There are plenty of cheap options that we should look at in FA to provide depth. I just don't see anyone worth spending real money on. Decker won't leave Denver. Tate won't leave Seattle. McCluster will stay with the Chiefs. The other big names are not interesting to me. (Maclin, Cooper, Nicks, Edelman, Boldin, Britt, Ect) I don't wanna over pay anyone from this FA class. As far as cheap guys that provide depth and camp battles. Andre Roberts, Dane Sanzenbacher, Emmanuel Sanders, and Damian Williams could be good pick ups. Just about anything would be an upgrade to our WR depth. We could bring back Briscoe, Spurlock, Stroughter, and Parker and we'd be 10x better at WR depth. That is kinda sad. With the draft, I say 4th round and later because I think there will still be some guys like Josh Huff, Robert Herron, Brandon Coleman, Cody Hoffman, Donte Moncrief, Devin Street, Cody Latimer, and Michael Campanaro around and those guys to me look every bit as good as most of these FAs that costs 5x as much. Plus the rooks have the potential to surprise and be more, where as a guy like Emmanuel Sanders for example, is what he is.
What ever happened to Stroughter?
He kept getting hurt.
unacceptable, I only accept indestructible wide receivers on this team.
On that list...I'll take Edelman and Louis Murphy.
I think we should take a good look at Andre Roberts and Jeremy Maclin.
I love McCluster. I doubt KC lets him get away, but he could fill a lot of needs for this team.
McCluster made the Pro Bowl as a returner... he's got some quicks
Stevie Johnson might be a cap casualty
Just read that it's unlikely that McCluster returns to KC. Go get em, Bucs!
McCluster is a local guy too, went to Largo high so he might have some interest in coming home.
