That was definitely one of Baker's best games. He did panic a couple times, but he had some bad drops that could have really opened this game up earlier. Let's hope he can keep playing like this for 3 more games. We need inconsistent Baker to sit in time out the rest of the playoffs and keep this one going. I'm surprised his throws looked as strong as they did considering he was questionable. But credit where credit is do. And to shellack the Eagles is like the cherry and mountain of whip cream on top of the desert. Screw them. Screw their fans (I'll never forgive those bastards for the comments they made about Jurevicious' son). Couldn't happen to a "nicer" team. I especially love the "oh shit" chuck down the middle of the field to Godwin for the icing TD. That was a big middle finger to them right there.
Now let's have a repeat re-do performance against the Lions. Would be nice to actually score a TD on the opening drive. Thought we had it this time.
Impressive win
This was A+ coaching by the staff and about B- / B+ play by the players. Evans and Otton dropped some walk in TDs. Special teams played well, just an all around good game.
This team was coached as if their "backs were against the wall".
Bowles brought the heat on defense early and often.
Canales was in his bag, and called his best game of the year. Exploited them, aggressive from the start. Receivers were wide open all game.
Baker played the best football of his career. And, at the perfect time.
But, something that shouldn't go overlooked, this year's draft class showed out tonight!!!!
We need simulate in loud conditions and work on hurry ups/silent counts, our corners are gonna have to step up and shut em down, we need to not get rattled and do our job cover our man play our gaps and we will win

JTS is coming on his first complete game
The Philly message boards are absolutely HILARIOUS right now!
yeah i know Palmer, Mauch and Durham were good but Kancey is special. i have to rewatch the film on his reps tonight - he dominated landon dickerson. This team was coached as if their "backs were against the wall".

Don't forget Diaby!

Yup. Canales pitched a gem.
Across the board everyone played well. Multiple people making plays on both sides of the ball.
Saw some players that were written off step up in their more limited role. Hall, JTS, Dean, Davis, and even White. They made plays.
It looked Bowles finally got his message across. I applaud him for benching players and getting them to step up. Well played by him.
Just a refreshing win where basically we just kicked the ever loving shit out of them.
How often to we get these types of wins?
Rare
Wow, the perfect thread!!! If the Bucs can click on all cylinders how we did in this thread…well run the table.
and also, I know many didn’t expect this utter destruction of a game, I mean their hasn’t been a bigger beat down since the civil war. Uhm 2002 vs SF and Oakland, Brady to Miller right before the half, the beat smackdown we gave to the Chiefs, Monday night football 1999 Shaun King flips the ball to WD or some other unforgettable play, Alstott bulldozing into the end zone while carrying defenders….he did that in the regular btw. Yeah, I’ll remember this one too. This was the first best game our new QB playing in his new home. Cheers guys…I knew this was gonna be a smackdown, next week will be a slugfest, either we will fire on all cylinders or not, if not… offseason starts that much sooner and our draft position is ever so slightly better, maybe a new LG or center or something???
If Baker and the defense continue to play like last night, we have a chance to go the distance. Defense needs to stay aggressive and Baker needs to continue to progress through reads and get the ball to his playmakers. When he watches the film, hopefully he'll see he panicked a few times when he had a solid pocket and tries to keep himself settled and listen to the timer in your head. All but one of the sacks was him holding it way too long. Defense needs to be on Amon St. Ra like stink on shit as Smith was the only guy to kill us last night, and we don't need to give that to the Lions.
One upset at a time folks...one at a time.

Great observation. I hadn't thought about that until I read your post.
eagles were awful! that was not tackling, that was flag football.
apart from that well done, on to the motor city.
and yes … we are the only team that stopped tush push twice 😀 … even though there was some facemask involved yesterday 😎

It's pretty hilarious to watch Ray Lewis' reaction to their atrocious tackling efforts.
I really don't see how Sirianni survives this. That team was worse than flat. They looked like they could not care less about being there.
