It’s pretty tough to see who the trolls are lol
Baker won't struggle next week if Canales calls a good game.
When Canales struggles, Baker isn't good enough to rescue him.
When Canales is on, he can make Baker look like a top 10 QB.
We will know which Canales we get after the first drive...
I personally think Canales is gonna call another good game and I expect some regression from our defense.
Lions are stacked on offense... blitzes have to get home.
I see our resident ambulance chaser is back to his trolling again.
"bRaDy wOuLd nEvEr aGrEe tO rUnNiNg tHe bAlL 3 mOrE tImEs a gAmE".
That's about as believable as BC saying no to 3 more drinks before climbing into his Volvo and risking the lives of innocent people.

That would be awesome if it were true.
But, as we've seen multiple times this season, that's not the case.
Hopefully, they're BOTH on their A-game this week.
“I am not a troll…. And let me call you a bunch of names to prove it!!”

Great way to describe it
"I swear I've only had...*hiccup*...two, officer".

And they are a much more complete team playing well.
the Eagles were in a free fall. We still played and coached well but the Lions are a different deal.
On a bet will actually be there so I hope left handed Mahomes plays well
lol
Have to love this:
“That’s what this NFL bettor chose to do when he faded his own team on “Monday Night Football” as the Eagles got roasted by the Buccaneers in the playoffs.
“I an (sic) Eagles fan all my life but the writing was on the wall,” @history_of_17 said in a text message obtained by @br_betting.
The individual wagered $250 on the home underdog -13.5 at +750 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, a far cry from the closing line of Eagles laying three three points.
When you spend every Sunday for several years watching one team, it is fair to say that no one knows that team better.”
ALMOST BETTER THAN THE WIN ITSELF

Canales has had receivers open for Baker all season. A lot of times right in front of him in the middle. The couple of times that Baker has decided to let it rip in the middle of the field he's looked great and the Bucs have moved the ball consistently. This is what we saw in the preseason when Trask would hit the middle seams regularly and had around 13 yards per catch versus 8 for Baker. The middle is there a lot, and Baker just needs to keep going to it. Forces defenses to stretch horizontally, which is the whole point of this offense. You pull defenses across the field both horizontally and vertically forcing them to make decisions in pass defense. It's then up to the QB to make the correct pre and post snap read to get to one of the first two guys who are in the compromised area of the field (someone should be open on virtually every play if the routes are run right).

Agree
Here are his QBR’s this season - one of his best seasons to date:
90+: 2
80+: 2
70+: 0
60+: 2
50+: 2
40+: 5
30+: 0
20+: 3
10+: 2
That is consistently inconsistent personified.
This all day. How anyone can argue about Baker's capabilities after looking at these QBR's is beyond me. "Consistently inconsistent" describes his entire career thus far. I'm hoping he continues on the upward trend, but I'm not confident he will. Go Bucs!

I think his description of Mayfield as "consistently inconsistent" is a fair one, but you have to tread lightly when math & stats come around lol.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr/_/seasontype/2
Baker Mayfield 2023 QBR: 54.4 (right with him are Carr, Burrow, Wilson, Murray etc)
Tom Brady 2022 QBR: 54.6
But, if thats not a stark enough example of how stats can be misleading without context, just think of the actual 2023 season. The Bucs finished 9-8 . . . so THE TEAM ITSELF is the very definition of inconsistency, right? Almost .500, even wins and losses, right?
That matters BECAUSE there are games in 2023 where the OUTCOME is STATISTICALLY at odds with Mayfield's QBR, right? In other words, we had losses where he has a terrible QBR . . but also losses where he has a good QBR.
Houston game he plays lights out. His QBR is close to 67, but it is a loss. Just one example
