Rewatching the Manningcast of Monday’s game. On the first drive, Mauch absolutely rag-dolls big ass Jalen Carter to the ground on one of the running plays. I have to think that was the best rep of Mauch’s life.

I think it was on the White run that got them to the 20-yard line, right?

I forgot to give the playcaller credit for Mauch doing his job well. Nice work, Canales.

Yes, about the 12:22 mark in Q1.

Yeah, that's the one. Lol.
It really can’t be overstated how well Baker Mayfield played vs. the Eagles. His numbers are good, but he was even better than what they say. Outside of a few plays, he made excellent decisions and accurate throws. If he can replicate this performance, they will have a serious shot at going to the NFC Championship game. But that is a big “if” with his history.

Weird flex but ok... you got me.
Ok thank you... because we both agree canales is 10x better than Lefty.
I feel like I do a decent job of letting you know when I'm not referring to you. And, that stands true with this, as I know you were very vocal about your disdain for Lefty.
That being said, you can go back in a few threads from yesterday and see the same 2 dumbasses literally acting as if he didn't even exist last year.
All while taking their usual potshots at Brady, acting as if he wouldn't have tossed 35-40 TD's in this year's offense and Baker throwing 25-30 INT's in Lefty's last year.
Brady regressed last year in terms of play and that was partially on him and his distractions etc... also Godwin injury, Gronk gone, line worse, etc.
But Canales has done such a better job compared to Lefty... which is why Lefty is unemployed and Canales is interviewing for HC positions (that he should not get).

this
Brady was Brady, not the GOAT. Not sure how that is even controversial. Literally one of the storylines of the season
also have no idea (other than straight up trolling) how pointing out Brady’s less than GOAT play and the impact of his missing leadership isomehow translates to “Leftwich not bad?” WTH lol
Last year, just like this year, there is this weird (other than trolling) battle over WHO (singular) is to blame. Football doesn’t work that way. And pointing out obvious things, like Brady is involved in the game planning and play calling (we were 66% pass) is not an excuse for Bowles or Leftwich or anyone.
seeing Brady as some sort of flawless demi-god is completely out of touch with the basic human experience and maybe more importantly basic NFll experience where there is a long list of QBs and otters who stayed too long, ended on a diminished note.
the current team is outperforming last years team with LESS. That’s not just Canales. It’s also Mayfiekd and yes the ABSENCE of Brady. Top players and Bowles talk about it. A player - and especially a star player - is more to a team than a collection of stats. Positive and negative

Yeah. His play regressed.
And, naturally, the divorce had an impact. But, the biggest was the ineptitude of the OC. Not even close.
But, yet again, you see the Lush Litigator deflecting the overwhelming majority of the blame to Brady while teaching us about the "NFll" and "Mayfiekd".
Unlike his latest breathalyzer, Byron gets a passing grade.
In this year's offense, Brady would've thrown for 35-40 TD's. In last year's offense, Baker would've thrown for 25-30 INT's.
That's not an indictment on Baker so much as it is Lefty.
And, while the blasted barrister scoffs at any notion that Bowles could have any say in Canales's game planning (especially how it pertains to the stretches of conservative calling), the drunkard gives Byron pass after pass insinuating that Brady designed and called the offense we saw last year. Belligerently rambling that Brady would never play in an offense that featured the run so much (despite the fact that Dave is only running the ball on average 3-4 more times per game than last year).
So, again Fire, I definitely don't put you in the category of Lefty apologists. You were very outspoken of his shortcomings.
DH, you asked me not to quote/reply to your posts and I have honored that request (this one exciting for the reasons expressed)
There was another part to your offer, right?
Since you made that request and I honored it, you’ve probably called me names MORE (if that’s possible lol)
any way to have an actual truce, for the benefit of the board?
By the way, my comment about Brady are basic reality.
Michael Jordan (like Brady) was legendary for his TRAINING. Multiple players CREDIT Jordan’s work ethics for directly contributing to their success — JUST LIKE WINFIELD DID THIS WEEK WITH BRADY
Jordan also average something like 30 pts a game
How were his last year or two in the NBA both relative to his scoring average AND leadership?
Does anyone thing some assistant coach was telling Jordan what to do? lol

Bwahahaha!
Bwahahaha!
That was my response to someone claiming that Brady (arguably the greatest football player of all time) wanted to call the same 5 plays in predictable order (to the point where MULTIPLE teams were caught on film saying they know what's coming/the playcall/formation/etc.) every single game as his "swan song".
Again, if that were the case, Lefty would've had ZERO problem getting a gig...even at the JUCO level.
Almost as laughable as tearfully begging for a truce, only to start the usual trolling 3 minutes after said post (hence why I didn't waste my time responding to that disingenuous and dishonest sack of shit).

my post was neither tearful lol nor dishonest. It was genuine
Your choice to reject. You’re choice to do so with a post where you’re not even iresponding to a point I made about Brady. You’re responding to something you made up (“someone claiming .. Brady wanted to call the sane 5 plays”)
if I was to have to defend comments you make it up … lmao
