Where is he projected to go in the draft. Pretty intriguing prospect IMHO. Could provide the competition Glennon needs or become the "guy" we have been looking for.

Not sure where he is projected to go, but from the few videos I've of him, he looked good and fairly accurate.Sean Mannion is a player that I don't know why no one is talking about. At one point this season, he led the nation in passing yards. He appeared to be pretty accurate and made just about every kind of throw. I wish someone would explain what his problem is.
Hard to say at this point. If he has a good post season he could go a lot higher than the 3rd round grade draft sites have seemed to place him in. I did read all 32 teams have sent scouts to his games and at least 2 GMs have attended. Just guessing he will go early 2nd.

Hopefully to us
3rd round according to nfldraftscout
Mechanical. But good and smart. How is that arm? I know very little other than he is very technically "sound". Like R.Wilson. I wanted Wilson but knew it wasn't happening. But I'm not sure about this guy. Low media school...
Jumpy when the pocket gets hairy?Hmmm...
If we pass on a QB in the first, I hope we manage to nab either him or Jeff Mathews in round 2-3.
I'm not really sold on any of the QBs slated to go in the first round. There have been too many misses with QBs drafted in the first round.I really like what I see from this Garoppolo kid. Quick release, strong arm (he can make the deep passes), great short and intermediate throws and he's shifty. The things I've read about being negatives are easily fixed with the right QB Coach/OC.I'm thinking Watkins Rd 1 and Garoppolo Rd 2 would be nice.
Dude has really good zip. I was standing on the sideline and quickly moved before I became a Deadspin blooper. The ball gets to the target quickly. Noticeable difference between he and Lynch. Lot of scouts and GMs were watching him closely all week.

Yeah his stock may soar but not sure how high. Some teams may grade him as a first rounder while others do not.

Mannion didn't come out. went back for his Senior season. Oregon State QBs are a product of Mike Riley's offensive system. they always put up big yards but aren't NFL type players

I really don't think he will sniff the first day. Fortunate to be a second day guy really. Lots of question marks still about the competition he faced and some mechanic flaws. He is a developmental guy. I don't see him as a guy who will be a day one starter. Part of the drawbacks is he didn't play under center and it will take him a while to get accustomed to that I believe, and from what some scouts told me at the practices this week.

Great arm but it seemed to take him a week to get rid of the ball in the games I saw him in.
