If it doesn't work, there's always the qb class of 2015.My Sig line sticks
The mammoth that is Robinson in round 1 and Garap in round 2 would be ideal imho. Get Hardy, a center, and another guard in FA and we should be a good team next year.
Where is he projected to go in the draft. Pretty intriguing prospect IMHO. Could provide the competition Glennon needs or become the "guy" we have been looking for.
Not sure where he is projected to go, but from the few videos I've of him, he looked good and fairly accurate.Sean Mannion is a player that I don't know why no one is talking about. At one point this season, he led the nation in passing yards. He appeared to be pretty accurate and made just about every kind of throw. I wish someone would explain what his problem is.
Great arm but it seemed to take him a week to get rid of the ball in the games I saw him in.
I definitely don't see that problem.
think hes referring to Mannion not Garapollo
My reference was to Mannion. Garapollo I've been a fan of all season. I watch a fair amount of FCS football and saw 4 or 5 games of his during the season. He's really impressive and the only hesitation is the level of play he's gone against.
I like Garapollo, but I'm predicting the bucs will take Tajh Boyd or Derek Carr in the draft. Listening to the Tedford interview, those were two of the first names he mentioned about quarterbacks fitting his offense
That was my feeling as well.

Hopefully, Tedford understands the term "smokescreen". If I were talking about QB's in the draft, I certainly wouldn't mention the ones I'm intrigued by. If those really are the QB's Tedford is eying, I'd like to play some texas hold'em with him.

Just threw up in my mouth at the thought of Boyd.
and Carr. ....
Looking forward to seeing him at the senior bowl now that mcarron has dropped out

I was just about to point out the same thing mg, great minds think a like 8) !
JG definitely appears to be a legit prospect at this point.Heres his highlights from last night for anyone that missed his MVP drive. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000314774/Garoppolo-s-strong-East-West-Shrine-Game-performance
I think he was clearly the best QB at the Shrine game, and I do like him enough to rank him above guys like Carr and McCarron....but that speaks more to my dislike of them than my like of Garoppolo. I'd take a shot on him in the 3rd if he's there, but I think this idea of him being a 1st or 2nd round pick would be a major reach.

Bucs don't have a 3rd round pick. If the Bucs feel he's their guy they're going to have to take him in the 2nd. I don't think he will last until the 4th round.
If he has another good game at the Senior Bowl he wont be there Rnd 3.I dont know much about him, but from what Ive seen, I like the kid. Id be OK with a R2 flier on the guy if we want a QB not named JFF.

It's really not that hard to acquire a 3rd round pick. You don't draft a guy 30 slots earlier than you have him graded just because you don't have a pick in the next round.

I don't know man. I guess it depends on how the Bucs have him graded....but I would hate to take another flier on a back up QB with our 2nd round pick, instead of taking a stud TE or DE.We took a flier on Glennon with our 3rd last year and now we are talking about what QB we should take this year. I think we need to concentrate on improving our roster. If there is a guy that we think is a legit starting QB, then don't eff around...take em in 1st round. If not, then don't make a habit of wasting top 100 picks on 2nd rate QBs. Wilson and Kap are not the norm, and they both have amazing mobility that really helps their chances and made them better prospects. If a guy isn't a good enough passer to be drafted in the 1st round, and he doesn't have elite mobility to fall back on, I just can't see taking that guy later in the top 100. Seems like a high cost/low reward pick imo.
