Good for you warren. Not everybody is man enough to eat their crow on McCoy. My little slugger still hasn't been able to muster up the courage.
Confidence builder!
My bad bruh..I had been highly critical of McCoy through the first half of this season and the previous few seasons. I would like to eat crow regarding my stance on McCoy. I feel like he really stepped his game up by the completion of this previous season. 9.5 sacks is an impressive number and he is obviously damn near elite, if not already there. Heres hoping McCoy will continue to develop and haunt defenses with improved coaching/better edge rush. I think everyone on this board hopes we get a coaching staff that can develop the young defensive nucleus we have...although offense seems to be the bigger problem....the pieces are there on defense and should not be neglected.
Anyone you hate, I'm all in on. It's the reason I like Glennon, you're so sure he's garbage that he's a sure fire pro bowler. The fact that it took you this long to see the talent McCoy had should be embarrassing but now that his stats are similar talent you can accept it..... McCoy has always been very quick, explosive and agile, that hasn't changed and you couldn't see it. Oh by the way, PFF, that garbage website thinks McCoy is the best DT in the league. Guess they aren't always wrong huh?

Being quick and agile is great but you have to make plays to be a good football player and he had a hard time doing that for quite a while. Lavar Arrington was a huge fast athletic freak but not a great football player. Im glad McCoy has turned into the monster he is. I hope he stays healthy because we need him!
For Gmac to put up those stats with that shitty coaching staff shows you how good he is get a real coaching staff in here he's going to ball out. Dudes the best dt in the league in my mind better then Suh and Atkins even when healthy. He's gonna be real special yall

Gonna disagree with you on this one.
Anyone that likes Pearl Jam deserves forgiveness. ;-)

Really I think he's the best dt in the league and a top 5 defender. I can make a case he should be up for defensive mvp this year along with lavonte.
McCoy is a strong War Daddy, always has been. His draft status and injuries got him a lot of heat...but even from the very beginning he was a force on the field. The big difference this year is that along with staying healthy, he was able to finish on some plays where he wasn't always able to. Credit must be shared with the other pass rushers on the team....a QB can pretty easily just side-step or roll out when there is pressure up the middle with no contain on the outside.2013 will be known as McCoy's breakout season, but he has always been very talented and disruptive.
Good guy, good player. I think the only thing that could stop him now is the injury bug. And so far, he seems to be holding up well. [after the bicep roll ups]

Thats pretty rough man. Give me another example besides McCoy?

Yeah a little rough, sorry bro. I get riled up by PFF haters.
No worries big guy.

Yeah, you look at how dominant he was in this stupid scheme and think that they had to be suppressing his productivity...something Marinelli/Smith won't be doing.

agree. I wonder what Lovie/Marinelli do at DE? Judging from Clayborn's tweet, he's excited to "put his hand in the dirt" again, but is there a free agent DE out there a la Peppers in Chicago?
