BG is right Det.Looks good, but does it win games? Sure, with a great defense maybe.
Is it that hard to understand that this isn't looking at stats but at his decision making? Brees threw for 4 and ran for 1. Glendon obviously didn't outplay him.
I've been a Glennon supporter, he's been good for a rookie , but it's pretty clear PFF just makes stuff up out of thin air ... Glennon played about the same game he's played all year.
Average.

oh gotchu...Yeah, I mean being a Brian Griese ball isn't a bad thing. The guy certainly was a good capable back-up in the NFL something I think Glennon can be too.
Calling him AC check down machine is at this point BS. He's in a deep passing game where his only real deep threat has cement boots and his OL can't keep Steve Erkel and Gary Coleman out of the backfield for more than two seconds. It's not like he has tons of options on every play.
Glennon had a great day on Sunday. He seems to have learned from he Rams game that if there is a blitz coming, you have 2 seconds. He was pulling the trigger where as in the Rams game he wasnt. In the Rams game he was staring down open receivers and not pulling the trigger. He was gun shy and has been since his good run. I am sure that his coaching had something to do with it. Thank God Schiano is gone.Im still very skeptical of Glennon being a franchise leader but he made huge strides in that last game. His no.1 issue is that he doesnt look like he can lead us to victory when the game is on the line. Maybe he was just a bad second half QB because Schiano was such a bad second half coach?
Not too surprising to me. I ever had a doubt about Glennon's decision-making when in the pocket. He looks confident in the pocket going thru progressions, something he did routinely for 4 years at NC State. He has the arm to make any throw. My beef has been Sullivan's slow-developing pass routes combined with Glennon's lack of agility to escape more athletic blitzers make it very difficult to get 1st downs anytime the run game is bottled up. Since everyone knows Schiano wants to run, real disciplined and athletic D's routinely were able to stop us. While Glennon may have looked bad in the stats, he WAS in fact following Sullivan's game plan when he wasn't on his backside... He'd be able to keep drives going much better using more spread formations and exotic formations to help receivers get open mixed with the run game. We'd still want to take our deep shots too, of course...
