Giants Trade for Burns

I would liked to have thought we would have tried something if we knew Giants could get Burns for a 2nd and a 6th. We have done some very important things so far, but we do not make a big enough move up the rankings without bringing in a quality edge rusher. We will be seeing more of the McVay/Shanahan offensive trees this coming year and if we do not find a way to get a consistent pass rush out of our front four they will pick us a part. That includes the Lions and now the Falcons offenses. We will remain average without this threat.

Highly doubt that they would have traded him within the division. 

That being said, it wasn't too long ago that the Panthers were offered multiple 1st rounders for Burns. 

That organization is an absolute dumpster fire.
