But the thing many people are failing to grasp is that Lynch isn't playing today and Goldson isn't playing in Johns era.When John was on the field he played within the rules of his time not those of an even tougher previous era.Now I hate the wussification of the league as much as anyone but the fact remains that the rules are the rules and other players have managed to adapt, we just happen to have signed a guy that is too hard headed or stupid to change along with his peers.Goldson would have been a great guy to have pre rule changes but as they stand now he's a highly paid liability.
