Other than no turnovers, there was absolutely zero to like on offense. On the flip side...The Defense was lights out! This game looked like an ugly slugfest playoff game, similar to the KC win. FYI to the negative fans out there...we need tests like this if we're expecting to get to and be relevant in the playoffs. Our D needs to think the can shut down good teams. This ugly azz win is one of my favorites of the season...the Bucs have made it an art form to lose these close games...not today!
Even if the 2 TDs weren't dropped by New Orleans WRs and the net gain is 10 points...that gives the Bucs the ball with 4 minutes left and down by 5...I'd wager we still score in that scenario and win 23-21.
My optimism remains undaunted...I think if we win at least 2 of the next 3 and sneak into that 5th or 6th spot...we can truly make some noise.
