I bet Adam Hayward wouldn't be giving him any lip.
I think the idea is that Lovie is a LB coach, so it's not like our LBs won't be getting great coaching. If nothing else, Hardware will bring great intensity, as well as Buccaneer pride to the practice field and to the sideline.
I agree with that, and maybe Lovie would help train (if needed) Hardy into the coaching aspect. If Hardy and Lovie can get David, Foster and whoever the other starting lb'er may be, playing at the level of the late 90's Buc lb'ers, this could be a lot of fun to watch.
From what the Gooch said about Hardy I think he will do just fine.
Incredible hire... This defense is going to be devasting.Coach Smith - Please, please, please make the offense competent.
HARDWARE- nuff said. awesome. Welcome Back #56
I've always heard guys like Brooks and Barber talk about how much Hardware helped them when they were young and how he was like having a coach on the field....so I think he probably will do just fine.
Love bringing Hardy back, accountability has returned http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjQH7V0O6Lo
If you watch the "miked up" Bears game posted here between all the trash talking (lol) you can hear Hardy organizing the troops on the field, essentially coaching. He just an "assistant" so who knows what that means, but I am all for it.

well, not only that, but at the end of the day he isn't the Lb coach. He's an assistant Lb coach.
