Has anyone else noticed a decidedly bitter tone with fans after this game?

I'm a season ticket holder with a lot of long time friends sitting with/around me.  We have been through an awful lot of losing together, but tonight seemed to spark a level of frustration way beyond normal.  Maybe it was the way we lost, with a last second glimmer of hope snuffed out by a ten second run off- but I had the feeling for sometime before that, there was an unusual amount of angst among the natives.  Many folks were bristling with disappointment, and vocally frustrated well before the final whistle.  Did anyone else find this to be the case, or find themselves feeling the same?
