As the article says, he's been really close to the same player as long as he has been in the NFL. He's always been good. Stupid people just think he took the next step because the defense got good enough to win a lot of games.
+1. If you could put Tom Bradys brain inside Cam Newtons head, then he would be elite.
Elite? No. At least not yet.During their playoff game we were joking about the Panther's game plan seeming to be "get Cam killed". The truth under that though is they tried to have him carry the game, and he couldn't. He is close though. He could definitely take a huge step forward this year, as he has started growing up.Who knows, maybe if he tries real hard, some day he could be as good as Josh Freeman, right JC?
3,379 24 TDs, 13 INTs is elite when you have the #2 defense4,065 27 TDs, 17 INTs gets you run out of town when you have the #29 defense

Bwahahahaha
There just seems to be something a little "off" with the guy. I don't know what it is TBH. But if he came out tomorrow and said, he was retiring to go live in a Tibet monastery, I would not be the least bit surprised.
