The #Bucs are declining their $2.5M option for 2018 on center Joe Hawley, source said. They haven't closed the door on bringing him back, but a veteran OL on the market.

Bucs could try to bring Hawley back later for depth on a smaller contract, but he’ll get a chance to check around as unrestricted free agent first. He’s 29, started 29 games in 2015-16 for Tampa Bay.

Hawley was on roster last season as injury insurance. Nice to have proven experience for line depth but Bucs will have some changes for 2018.
