The trade up can only happen if the teams who finish last don't need a QB. Some of the projected worst teams have QBs. Others will be needing them. Trading up for a QB is not always an option. The Cardinals are projected to be the worst team at 5.5 games, then a couple teams at 6.5 and several. There are no Houston Texans this year who we knew were setting themselves up for a high draft pick. This year I don't think there are any teams like that.Bucs have proven that they need a QB and they can win superbowl or at least be a playoff threat
I think we may suck this year but I think you’re looking at an attractive head coach opening with a top 5 pick (potentially trade to 1) to get a franchise QB next year
We have a lot of solid players that is a QB, coach, and a few other pieces away from being back in playoffs
