The stench of being Ron Freeman's b*tch is still all over you. It's harder to wash off than MRSA.

FireSchiano:   "Pretty much anyone is an upgrade over Schiano."Thanks for illustrating my point with your mindless rhetoric. What was the excuse for why we beat the Dolphins? Oh yeah, "they were a team in turmoil." Well Tampa is always a team in turmoil. This is directly attributable to their fan base. You need only look at Tampa Bay sports radio to see that this is true. This section of media is primarily a group of parasites that attach themselves to the team and suck the life out of them in exchange for ratings. The reason this is possible is because there is a large market for their product. A large market for negativity in a comparatively small market. Changing the coaching staff is not going to change that. The Tampa media tailors its product to what the fans will buy. And in turn, Tampa gets the team it deserves. Why was Ron Freeman able to play Tampa fans like a rented banjo with such blatantly obvious bullhsit? Because he offered the negativity this fan base thrives on. He took a big dump in your Cheerios, told you it was Schiano Flakes, and you ate it right up and asked for more. Maybe it's time you pulled your collective heads out of your asses? Stop with the "anyone is better, we'll take change for change's sake" idiocy. A cursory examination of Tampa's coaching shows this to be false. What would even be the point of bringing in someone new if you pack of jackals is just going to turn on them anyway? Why would a coach even want to come here? This is the low rung on the ladder. Small market, spiteful fan base. The only coaches that want to come here are guys who would take any NFL job. Tampa Bay is getting the team it deserves. Changing the coaching staff isn't going to change that. There are probably only two coaches that might come here and get a fair shot from the fans, and that's Lovie and Gruden. Gruden probably doesn't want to come back, and Lovie looks like a ticket to years of mediocrity. Yeah, he would build a defense, but that's three quarters done already. A starting DE, and the continued growth of McCoy, David, Banks, and Gholston, along with some improvement on offense, forms a solid defensive foundation. I would be surprised if we weren't a top eight D next year, even with no changes in the staff. The offense is clearly not going to be so easy to fix. It is, however, relatively easy to make some large improvements. Our WR corps consists of VJax and a bunch of hobos. Seriously, there might be a couple of practice squad players, but that's about it. And everyone may love the Rainey underdog story, but if you think he's not a huge dropoff you're delusional. And we need some QB competition. And, oh yeah, we need a new O-line. It's going to take time to build all that. And changing the coaching staff isn't going to change that. Scream and yell like a bunch of little girls all you want, but you cannot force a quality coach to come here. Sorry Tampa, it looks like you're going to have to lie in the bed you've made for yourselves.

I was one of Schiano's biggest supporters when he first came to Tampa and thought he would be a good coach. After his 6-4 start, I was really feeling good about him but after that it has been all downhill and I've seen enough. The guy simply isn't a good NFL head coach. Do you seriously think that there are many other coaches who would have only won 4 games with this roster? How could you possibly blame the fans for the team sucking? LOL. The fans may come off as negative, but look at the team. People are negative because the team is garbage and has been for several years now. We have the 2nd longest playoff drought streak in the NFL, IIRC, and we haven't won a playoff game in over a decade now. How do you expect the fans to be positive when the team is constantly losing?

I remember everybody being quite pleased with Schiano being hired after Chip Kelly bailed. A down to earth guy who would be the second coming of Tony Dungy. So for this guy to bash the fans as the cause of losing is rather ludicrous. We aren't involved in any aspect of the game other than setting expectations for a quality product that we pay for.  Its clear Schiano has dug himself a hole and the Glazers need to fill it in on top of him. He just isn't a good NFL coach. Its as clear as that. Bayfisher is just a troll.

Who?  The eternal optimists?  Go back and read some of threads after his hire.  There were a ton of posters that wondering WTF the Glazers were thinking.  The guy has never ever won anything.  He was a.500 coach in college.  What at that point in his career said great hire?  What big games did he ever win?  What innovative things did he bring to the game?  Oh, have the temp at 72.87767899 degrees exactly?  The guy now has an overall losing record.  He was mediocre in college(if that).  How does mediocre in college translate to success in a more difficult league?  No one has yet been able to explain that logic to me.  I doubt any of you ever will.  In 13 years of coaching Greg Schiano has never won anything of import.  He never will.  He isn't good enough.  Football has passed him by years ago.  The last dinosaur.  Where's an asteroid when you need one.

I'd go back and look but I'm not putting effort into something that no longer matters. He is a horrible coach. #FireSchiano

Here's what needs to happen the Glazers should distribute those memory eraser devices from Men in Black to all the season ticket holders, so I can forget I wasted my $$ on this crap.

The decision needs to be made next Monday so we can go out and hire a competent staff instead of playing the waiting game(which has hurt us in the past).  Be decisive.  Make a great hire.

Find me a better option and I'll give him a ride to the airport. But change for the sake of change is foolishness that only sets us back. And when you're looking at replacements, keep in mind that the biggest obstacle the new guy will face is overcoming the idiocy of the Tampa fan base.

Do you want a short list or long list?

No list necessary, a single coach that's better and willing to come here. That's the part you're ignoring, 'willing to come here.' Typical Tampa fan, only sees half the equation.

The part I'm ignoring?  I'm lost on that statement.  You said "Find me a better option and I'll give him a ride to the airport.".  I'm simply asking if you want a long list or a short one of candidates who I think would be a better option than Schiano.Every coach who wants to be an HC would be willing to come here.  Every coach who wants to be an HC would be willing to go anywhere.

+1What bothered me at the time was they went from one project to another.  I didn't like it then and I don't like it now.OJT isn't good enough for NFL franchises.

c'mon.  there are many coaches who would love to come here.  there are many coaches who could be successful with our talent and our future.not "every" coach wants to come here...but to deny that "many" quality coaches would love to be named head coach of the Bucs is asinine.

Lose to the Saints next week (not gonna be hard)Fire Dominik and entire coaching staffGet a real GM (Jerry Angelo maybe?)Have him search for a REAL NFL HEAD COACHHave that coach decide if Glennon is right for his systemIf not, use this top 5-6 pick to draft a franchise-caliber QBHave the GM release Penn and Joseph and use the dead money from our O-line to fortify a new and improved O-lineAll of this along with the return of our injured players (Martin, Williams, Barth, Nicks) and we should have a promising 2014  ;D

Here's what needs to happen:Delete you account and carry on with your life.Angelo? Really? Are you just grasping at straws? Let me guess. That name is familiar, so might as well toss it in? You forget that Angelo TRADED FOR Gaines Adams......not drafted.....TRADED FOR!!!! Think about it.
