Even the players said we sucked today so wouldn’t necessarily blame pewter for any reporting

The thumbnails for the videos about the Jets joint practices.

1. picture of Goedeke “Bucs brawl with Jets in practice!”

2. Picture of Trotter tackling a Jet “Bucs battle Jets in Round 2”

Thumbnail from Jags joint practice is Liam Coen and Bowles side by side “Bucs get eaten alive by Jags in practice”

They wanted to stroke Coen and get the fans complaining about Bowles again. The super chats were mostly anti Bowles posts.

Bucs are having a positive training camp and they just had to turn the energy against Bowles

You sound like a teenage Swiftie when anyone says anything bad about Tay-Tay. It's so cute.

I haven't read anything Pewter Report has put out in years. Not everybody needs help seeing that Todd Bowles isn't a good HC.

Agree with OP.

We need all the Coen ball shiners to stop.  It’s a bad look.

Ha funny id replace bowles with Coen now if it were an option. I'm sure most would in here as well. Really not many buc fans excited about Todd bowles this season. He never should have gotten the job to begin with. Was ass in NY. Has not been a good hc here. He just took advantage of the worst division in football. Last year was a complete disaster. The division is better this year. I'm expecting it to be another meh season where maybe we are lucky and our division sucks again. But easier said than done this season compared to others.

should have been replaced after 2022 and 2025 season; many would argue after 2024 for Coen.

and yeah we are tops a 10 win team this year and I’d take the under despite Brandt and orlovsky creaming their pants over 1 play by Bain in a preseason game.

guess we’ll find out. Couple weeks out!

I really hope I'm wrong and the "experts" are right. Bain has a ridiculous MVP season because man he can cover too! Bowles coty. Let's go!

I sound like a bot at this point but this team can reach 9 or 10 wins with some Mayfield magic and the 2026 rookie class. Bowles is a non factor if you look at the grand picture.

nobody shining Coen's balls here but you could agree he's a better head coach than Bowles, right?

top 10 (in no order) - Reid, McVay, Shanahan, Macdonald, Payton, Harbaugh(x2), Ben Johnson, Vrabel, Sirianni

top 15 - add in Campbell (over-rated), Ryans, Matt LaFleur, O'Connell, Coen.

top 21 - add in McCarthy, Quinn, Stefanski, Robert Saleh, Klint Kubiak, and Brian Shottenheimer.

So yeah i have Bowles at 22 currently.  Coen at like 15.

I don’t get too caught up in coaching rankings.  Neither Harbaugh would be in my top 10.  That’s just people like Dan Patrick eating the cheese.

That said, I am sure Coen is a fine coach, but, coaching seems to favor those with a good QB.

Regarding Bowles:

2022 - 8-9, losing record, won division. Tom Brady's only losing season in his entire career. Got crushed in playoffs.  Arguably the worst division in football.  NFC South had a .426 winning percentage versus AFC South at .397.  AFC South winner had a winning record at 9-8 in Jacksonville.  in a PASS or FAIL:  FAIL

2023 - 9-8, won division, won a playoff game.  NFC South was easily the worst division in football at .397 winning percentage with next worst being the AFC West at .471. in a pass or fail:  PASS

2024 - 10-7, won division, lost first playoff game.  NFC South was arguably worst division in football.  NFC South had a .412 winning percentage versus AFC South of .397. One game difference but Houston won division at 10 wins as well. Bucs had a top 5 offense, a top 10 QB, and things were looking up.  in a pass or fail:  PASS (but barely, losing the playoff game was disappointing of a team you beat by 17 points earlier in the season)

2025 - 8-9, losing record, missed playoffs after 6-2 start. Arguably the worst division in football.  NFC South had a .441 winning percentage versus NFC East of .397.  Division winner had a losing record where Eagles had 11 wins.  PASS or fail:  FAIL

so quite clearly, the Bucs had benefited from one of the weakest divisions in football during the Todd Bowles era.  The division was typically 2nd worst in each year, but in the aggregate, easily worst division from a winning percentage perspective in that 4 year span.  The division was won twice with losing records. You can count on one hand the amount of times that has happened in the last 25 years.

what do the Bucs have to show for it?  1 playoff win with a 1-3 playoff record in that span.

I felt we were playing with house money in 2023 with that playoff win post Brady, but it has been all down hill since then.  Hard to be excited for this teams prospects with him as head coach.  They have a ceiling and it isn't exciting to say the least - matches his "YAAAAAAYYYY" rally locker room cheer

thats all fine and dandy, but certainly, we would rank any coach with a Super Bowl over Todd.  Right?   - Reid, McVay, Payton, McCarthy, Harbaugh, Sirianni, macdonald.

then to take it one step further, might as well put coaches on there that at least made it there, right? - Shanahan, Vrabel, Harbaugh, and Quinn.

Then if we add another indicator of led a team to atleast 11 wins in a season - LaFleur, Campbell, O'Connell, Coen, Ryans, Stefansky, and Ben Johnson.

that is 18 coaches easily better than Todd Bowles right?

so not even being harsh with him.  i then listed 3 relatively new head coaches - Saleh, Shotty, and Kubiak which at least 2 of them arguably best coordinators in the league last year.

Even if you don't rank the coaches you still have the eye test. Teams do win despite the hc. We actually were winning games early on despite our hc. But it's unsustainable if he's inept and he is. And the evidence has been our consistent mid season collapse. Last season we should have skipped like a school girl into the playoffs after our start. Inexcusable by all but Bowles is the one who should take the blame because this is a consistent issue.

No, just the dumbass who said stuff like this:

Good riddance. He (Coen) wasn’t what you all thought he was.

Posted by: @jc5100

Coen was a fraud and I was the only one who had the balls to say it. His situational play calling was terrible and cost the Bucs games and the playoffs.

think back to Dungy.  His specialty was defense.  He had a top 10 defense each year but the offense was consistently bottom 10.  He got fired

well with Bowles

his specialty is defense. and he has a defense that has gotten progressively worse each year in terms of points and consistently in the bottom half of the league in terms of yards allowed.

...think he needs more time.
