I don’t get too caught up in rankings.  Neither Harbaugh would be in my top 10.  That’s just people like Dan Patrick eating the cheese.

That said, I am sure Coen is a fine coach, but, coaching seems to favor those with a good QB.

Hahaha of course you don't, knees, because it debunks 99.9% of the stupidity you post around here. So do stats. So does history. Just face it, you know football like a fish knows astrophysics.

Baker Mayfield was not happy with Tampa Bay’s physicality on Day 1. He essentially gave Jacksonville the edge, saying the Jaguars were the more physical team and were “playing with their hair on fire.” He added that if the practice had been a real game, he didn’t think Tampa would have won.

Chris Godwin Jr. also wasn't satisfied with Tampa's performance. He reportedly told the team it needed to “pull our heads out of our asses” after Tuesday's practice.

It looks like Bucs at least bounced back on day 2 but yeah apparently it was pretty ugly on day 1 at least according to our captains.

Bucs lost the day. Fine. But putting a picture up of Liam Coen and say “Bucs get eaten alive by Jags” is being pro-Coen to the point where they were anti Bucs. It wasn’t even true.

if you put 1/2 the effort you put into creating fake "I am the only one who knew Coen was a fraud" controversies into actual Buc reality then your posts might almost be interesting

Even if you don't rank the coaches you still have the eye test. Teams do win despite the hc. We actually were winning games early on despite our hc. But it's unsustainable if he's inept and he is. And the evidence has been our consistent mid season collapse. Last season we should have skipped like a school girl into the playoffs after our start. Inexcusable by all but Bowles is the one who should take the blame because this is a consistent issue.

That is the thing Licht did add more talent via the draft this off season where the Bucs can waltz into the playoffs if Bowles does not screw it up and Mayfield makes some sandlot plays to win close games.

As long as Bowles keeps the ship steady he will receive credit for it and the team will do the rest.  But if Bowles starts to meddle with the offense or really go crazy with this defensive calls this team will slide again with another slump.

This may be a tangent but Bowles has a long way to go to catch up to coaches like Tomlin, Art Shell (underrated)  etc.

lmao Mike Tomlin is arguably a top 20 head coach of all time

Bowles isn't even in the top 20 of current head coaches

I get the point you are trying to make but its the NFL so no one waltzes anywhere even in a so-called weak division. The Bucs basically collapsed last season at the end and even then they lose multiple games by a field goal or less so just a little better luck and the outcome is different.  Its that way because of the parity overall and because NFL football is so momentum driven.

If they are healthy they should win the division based on what we know now before the season begins.

just anothter way to make the same point but if the team is very talented now then it was NOT in 2023 . . the year they went to the playoffs etc

If Coen called anything but a jet sweep, the game in Philly the next week would have been interesting.

bad play call, worse execution by Baker.

Yes, that play basically ended the season

but...you going to sit here and deny that Coen/Baker combo wasn't some of the most encouraging/exciting Buccaneer football outside of 2020/2021 Tom Brady we've seen since 2002?

Bowles had a 6-2 team with the bye and could have waltzed into the playoffs if he was hands off with the offense and defense and focused more on ST as a HC.  That is my hot take and I am standing by it.

Hahaha of course you don't, knees, because it debunks 99.9% of the stupidity you post around here. So do stats. So does history. Just face it, you know football like a fish knows astrophysics.

So you think Harbaugh in LA, entering his third season as HC with Herbert, not doing a damn thing with that talent, after leaving Michigan amongst a cheating scandal, is a good coach?

So you think Harbaugh in NYG land, who had the most gifted QB of our lifetime under center for most of his time there, and couldn’t move the needle, is a good coach because, you know, tough guy culture, is a good coach??

Simple Simon.
