I personally think this is an awful approach for Bowles and Coen. Maybe it's just coach speak but if they do this then nobody will get going and we will end up passing it 40 times.
White is an elite pass catcher but struggles at times between the tackles.
Bucky has the best vision and is a good pass catcher as well. He lacks top line speed. He's also pretty good at pass pro.
Tucker is good but I think we are over reacting to his week vs the Saints. I just watched Javonte Williams run all over them.
Ultimately I think with Evans banged up, we should see 2 of them on the field pretty often.
I'd like to see White sit out one more week to get fully healthy and let Tucker/Bucky run the show.
Then once they're back we keep Tucker on kickoff duty and give him maybe 1 series... But the rest should still go to Bucky as the lead, and White as his complement.
Thoughts?
Great post and definitely share the concern.
I hope that Tucker is the real deal or that White comes back and blows the doors off. Its a good problem to have the depth of 3, but not rotating them come game time.
Tucker has to perform like that a few more times before wed know he's legit. . . . just like Bucky had to
Maybe it's just coach speak
It is. Good on you for recognizing it. Bowles said that same thing weeks ago and nothing really changed.
The same nitwit was fooled by it then, too.

The Red Board's special purpose arrives.
Biggs, 95% of your comical trolling here BEGINS with you posting something idiotic. You pin yourself in over and over again and then your ego (and desie to troll) almost never allows you to just go "hey, ya know what . . got that one wrong."
The whole White versus Irving thing is precisely that. Parading around the "football acumen" to be a d---k leads you to posting stupid things like actually suggesting White would not slide down in carries when last season he was COMICALLY one of the heaviest load RBs in the league and this year we drafted a good RB.
Heaven forbid listening to what those coach's actually say. LOL. and ya know . . they are even wearing street clothes!
weeks ago and nothing really changed.
LOL
yeah . . .. nothing .. . really . . . changed
From "street clothes" in preseason . . to now . . .things are just the same
good one, Biggs!

Stawman building - it's all you got.
Post the quote, fuckboi.

I think it’s just a “coach speak” thing.
My thing is, how do you really determine a “hot hand” after 2-3 carries each?
Im with you on giving White another week to get 100%. Next week’s game is more important anyways.
Assuming all 3 are healthy as of today, I’m rolling with:
RB1 - Tucker
3DB - White
Pony/Change of Pace - Bucky

Still no quote, fuckboi? I'm shocked.
Go ahead, post the quote of me "posting stupid things like actually suggesting White would not slide down in carries", you lying sack of shit. The "fuckboi" comment is because you are, in fact, a lying sack of shit.
I'll go ahead and put you in your place fuckboi:
I am a fan of White but is it possible he slides down the chart?
White would not slide down in carries
Those aren't the same things. Those are two different things. You may think they are the same thing, because you're a football simpleton. As hilarious and predictable as the goal-post shift is, they aren't the same thing.
Unless you have the quote to back-up what you've claimed (you don't, because I've never said it), you can continue on with your shameless strawman building. It's all you have left.
Finding the hot hand, and riding the hot hand is a bit of a nuance. We got 3 to choose from. If this had been said about our receiver group, there would be no question…
Its a great problem to have.

You’re right.
Because that would be a horrible comparison.

Biggs, I would be embarrassed for you but that’s a full time commitment.
good luck with that lmao
Fortunately, looks like dealers choice in this coming game, will be our receiver group.
I want a win, but a win next week is more important.

it is a great problem to have. It’s great to have the competition. It’s great to have multiple good backs, especially when the position is so prone to injury.
Bowles means he got options and competition because of the depth of talent and because, unlike last year, White is not basically the only option, as was abundantly clear the moment Irving started playing and then became an exclamation point when White was injured.
now we just need White to make it extra tough to play the other two.
