Irving was both the top runner and receiver out of the backfield, right?. Tucker barely plays.

White is a good runner with fantastic hands and is a very fluid receiver.

Tucker played one drive

"[White is] the bigger of the three, he’s probably the best pass protector of the three and he’s great out of the back field as well,” Bowles said. “At the time we were behind trying to catch up.

“We just left him in as the best option.”

I like Bucky best, personally.  He really does a great job breaking tackles as advertised in his draft hype.

Could be.

IMO, it's Tucker.

Regardless, he needs more snaps.

I just want to win, don’t really care who it is, and I’m not sure the “hot hand” theory is actually being applied, but these RB’s have certainly all had their moments & been one of the lone bright spots!

…but I had to do a double-take at who posted it!?

As do I.

But, let’s say Bucky has a game where he goes for 14 and 136 yards with a touchdown and adds another 56 yards receiving another TD.

Then we proceed to lose the next two games (one essentially being a must win AND without our Top-2 pass catchers), and Bucky’s snaps decrease by nearly 80% during that time.

What would your response be?

Something tells me it would be significantly different.

I completely understand. Had to do the same thing in another thread when I saw you post something “slightly” critical of Baker.

Tucker certainly should have had more snaps but Bucky played fantastic. White was solid outside of the fumble.

Mayfield's inconsistency often arises when he is UNNECESSARILY forcing things.  Impatiences instead of letting the game come to him. Coen feeds into this sometimes (flea flicker), but since the discussion is about Tucker's reps note Bowles answering about less Running down the stretch as one reason for Tucker's limited snaps:

“Some of the things they started doing kind of got us away from it a little bit,” Bowles said. “And we started altering to some of the passing game.”

sometimes giving a QB the offense works, other times it does not because it bogs down the QB's thinking or impacts the play calling.

lol, truth

Some posters put everyone, including themselves, into FALSE iron buckets  of "FOR" or "AGAINST"

They put OTHER POSTER into buckets to make it easier to argue with them. So, someone who ACCURATELY points out that Brady played a role in the struggles of 2022 becomes a "Lefty Humper" who supports "Lefty" for all things. LOL. Same thing with Trask/Mayfield, Bowles etc. Recall last season that even as Mayfield played well it was credited to Canales (lol) or he was still "missing wide open receivers running all over the field."  When the Bucs struggled running, Mayfield was "calling runs to the wrong side." IF YOU POINT OUT THAT IS ABSURD . . . you are placed in the "Mayfield Humper" bucket:

THIS IS THE WAY OF THE RED BOARD . . . .

WHEN IT SHOULD BE THIS:

Agreed and if one just listens to Bowles  ( oh wait, thats "coach speak"  . ..  well,  EXCEPT when its Coen saying White is the man lol) its clear that they saw a role for him. Its just that it that it did NOT materialize in this game, in part because of the way the game played out

More importantly, Tuckers limited use was NOT a cause of the loss, it was an EFFECT of the loss.

Tucker is being Thomas Jones'd. By the far the best back and being benched of stupidity. Atleast when Jones had his breakout game Gruden had the sense to keep giving him the ball. But then he let him walk to give Charlie Garner more money and then draft Cadillac over Rodgers.

My comment wasn’t an indictment of slight on Bucky’s performance (or White’s).

Just further proof that Bowles was full of shit with the “hot hand” and the “we were behind” comments.

Simply put, the staff needs to get Tucker more carries; even if it cuts into White’s and Irving’s.

LOL

White and Irving were the hot hands and they were behind and passing more.

Earlier this season White was going to be the lead dog, with Bucky only getting a share equal to Edmunds/ Tucker last year, IN PART BECAUSE . . . according to you . .  WHITE IS A GOOD PASS PROTECTOR and great out of the backfield catching.

Now, Bowles proves your point . . and he's LYING
