Could Hackett be an offensive coordinator candidate for next year (assuming Turd Bowels returns)? Probably not, as his offensive philosophy is probably not close enough to the stone age.
If they dont make the playoffs, for sure! Look no further than Denver
however, if they make the playoffs, then i dont see them moving on from Bowles.
the only factor we are missing here is Tom Brady's pull. The dude fired Arians. The dude doesn't practice on Wednesday and is a big reason the team is underachieving because he is not "ALL IN". I dont like the coaching staff as much as the next guy but this team is too talented to be underachieving as they have and i have to accredit to the effort level given they see their leader not working as hard.
in any event, if Brady wants Sean Payton....i could see ownership taking a big swing as they have in the past. Can't say i wouldn't be in favor of that given the disappointment thus far this year and a washed up Brady is better than Gabbert or Trask!
Keep them around for one more year.
