Take what I typed at face value.I don't care how they do it. Or who it is as long as this person is exceptional.
Reality is we have no idea what is going to happen
In this hypothetical scenario Schiano is coming back so we know what won't happen -- an effective offense, consistent defense, and smart coaching.
No we don't
9-12... with an exceptional QB under center.
Are we going to grow one in a vat?
I lol'd
Six, if everything goes to his planning. Four if there are injuries or losses right away.
0 if the Glazers do the right thing...

Those are two of the worst divisions in football. AFC and NCF North. That is Marty Schottenheimer s 14 - 2 schedule right there. For Schiano? 6-7 wins. Assuming that we upgrade the talent level again this off season and assuming Glennon is not the starter.

The NFC East is pretty craptastic this season
True. One decent team in each of those divisions. Of course next year could be totally different. Bears and Pack should be good next year and Bengals should be as well. The Steelers defense has fallen apart without James Harrison. Baltimore has great coaching so you can't count them out. Cleveland is the wild card. They were looking pretty good before Hoyer went down. They could be a team to watch next year.
We'll win our share.
The question should be "what's his ceiling?"
My confidence in the team is at a all time low. So looking at that 2014 schedule, I don't see one team on the list you could say with confidence, the Bucs will beat. The Browns game maybe, but they have a slew of draft picks, and if they put them to good use, they should be much improved.
Browns defense is legit right now, and so is that Josh Gordon kid. So is Cameron Jordan. I think they'd kick our ass if we played this Sunday.
I have to agree, browns with a QB that's above average and the defense they have now would be solid.
