11 premier DE prospects combine for a whopping total of 27 sacks. That's about 2.5 per prospect. There's absolutely no reason to believe that Chubb, or any of the edge rushers in this year's draft, are going to make an impact on their respective teams next year, or ever. Some on the above list are already complete busts.
Chubb will have a Barnett type impact. He's good. But Landry, Key, Davenport, Armstrong, Okoronkwo, Sweat, Chad Thomas, Lorenzo Carter, Jalyn Holmes, Haynes, Frazier? God Help us.
I DO like Ejiofor. I think he's the most underrated player in the drat. I would take him in the 3rd or 4th round. But he's the only one not named Chubb that I would touch. And I WON'T trade up for Chubb!
