Im doing a user mock draft on another website and I have the Bucs. We are doing a full 4 round mock right now and ive just completed my selections. How would you guys feel if this is how our first 4 rounds went? We allowed trades and movements.Trades I executedTraded #7 overall for #17 plus #34Traded #38 (Bucs original 2nd) for 31st pick in the 2nd and 31st pick in the 3rdGained an extra 2 and a 3Selections1st - Eric Ebron TE UNC2nd - David Yankey OG/OT Stanford2nd - Brandin Cooks WR Oregon State3rd - Ego Ferguson DT LSU4th - Marcus Smith DE LouisvilleI personally would be thrilled with this. I think it addresses our major needs and when combined with Free Agency can get us back to where we need to be. I wanted to get a DE earlier but there really wasn't any value when I came on the clock and I lost my target in the 3rd when someone traded 1 spot in front of me to take him. All in all it gets us a replacement at RT or OG, a playmaker in the slot, a major mismatch TE, 2 very good DL depth players than can easily develop into starters
I do like this. This team has several holes and these guys would fill some of them.

I like this a lot. I love Cooks as our slot guy, we get another offensive weapon in Ebron and quality depth on both lines. I would have to make the assumption we signed a DE like Allen or Bennett and a CB like Tillman in FA to make this draft work

Clowney, manziel, bridgewater, Barr, mack, carr were off the boardMatthews was a thought but I didn't think hes enough of an impact guy to take there. I contemplated Watkins but decided to roll the dice and move back. ill take the Ebron and Cooks duo that I ended up being able to get because of the trade over taking just Watkins at 7. don't look at the player that was there, look at the big picture. the trade to get ebron netted me the 3rd pick in the 2nd round, I used that one and moved my other 2 for an extra 3. I basically acquired 3 picks for that one trade. it also allowed me to get high enough to take Yankey before he was off the board. I got cussed out by a couple of pickers that were going to take him before the Bucs original 2nd pick

yesim assuming we will make moves as well when Free Agency actually opens in a few months. if I was a betting man id place money that one of Greg Hardy, Michael Johnson or Jared Allen is signed by us as well as Tillman. I really wanted a DE in the 2nd but there was just no value where I was picking. I also was looking for a corner to fall but same thing, no value in my slots. I thought about CB in the 4th but Smith rated higher on my board so I went BPA at that point

I don't see it with that kid. this qb class isn't very good and I don't even rate him a 1st round prospect. hes a product of a terrible qb class. Derek carr is the same to meif you take Bortles at 7 he still has no weapons or protection. you are going to get him killed

well what exactly don't you like? this isn't Madden football, you have to address areas of need and that's what this draft doesgo watch Ferguson's tape and tell me you don't think hes a good DT prospect. Marcus Smith is a great value in the 4th. dunno what you aren't thrilled about
Who knows, there are too many variables.This just listing players picked at a certain spot in the draft stuff means nothing without knowing a ton of other stuff.Who did we sign in FA to lessen needs elsewhere, if we hypothetically got Jimmy Graham (not happening but just saying) that 1st pick is bad.Who was left on the board at #7 when we traded out, if there was one of the better QBs it would be dumb.Who else was left at the point we actually do make the pick, if for some unknown at this time reason a guy like Barr, Watkins, one of the QBs, Clowney, Matthews drops to #17 why did they drop and is it bad enough for us to pass them up for a TE?You can't realistically even start to think of who to draft until at least a week into FA when major holes are plugged and you get some idea of what needs are left.
Not a fan of any mock that has us taking the only DE in the fourth. Lovie wont trade our 1st unless the offer is just too good and he will pick a trench position. maybe if the positions were reveresed

ok if we get Graham (which will never happen in a million years) then obviously im not picking EbronYou use the term better QBs, I don't like this qb class and what if Tedford and Lovie agree with my line of thinking and decide that Glennon did enough to warrant getting a chance with some help and a coherent OC. newsflash, we probably wont draft a QB this year and will probably bring in a Vet like mcCown to competeBarr, Watkins, Clowney, Matthews wont drop to 17 unless they bomb the medicals and the interviews, not gonna happenyour hypotheticals are so much worse and bigger reaches than minejust grade this class on needs filling and players. don't overanalyze the hell out of it. you guys make a simple question difficult
