Not a fan of any mock that has us taking the only DE in the fourth. Lovie wont trade our 1st unless the offer is just too good and he will pick a trench position.
read my previous posts. there was no value to be had when I picked. you don't reach on a defensive prospect if the value isn't there. the guy I wanted in the 2nd(Kareem Martin) got pushed to the 3rd when Cooks was still on the board at 63rd overall and I thought hed go in the 40s, Martin was still there at 30th in the 3rd and the Jets picker took him 1 slot from me. that kind of fall tells me that I was right on his value
Not a huge fan of the3rd rounder I understand, but do not agree with, the logic on folks who like Donald as he has elite talent but Fergusin is just getting another guy and we have that.

Ferguson is a 2nd round talent and an upgrade on Spence. we basically have 2 DTs on this team right now, McCoy and Spence. anybody after them is pretty much a JAG that needs to be replaced. a rotation of McCoy, Ferguson and Spence is really strong. if it means we don't have Gary Gibson or Derek Landri in the rotation it makes me that much happier. I don't like relying on guys like them
I also want to reiterate that this isn't just a paper mock draft that I came up withthis is a real 32 person mock with 31 other guys making selections. obviously my picks would be different if I had access to every player in the draft but I was constantly having to readjust my board to compensate for players being taken. this wasn't done in a vacuum

considering u were drafting for value i'd say u hit a homer. I personally would not be upset if we spent our entire draft on position (trench players) so when I saw your mock with a te with the 1st and a DE with the last, my first thought was "fail".

Appreciate you want depth, R3 isn't where I go for depth plus when you scream depth there are other places like CB, WR, DE where our depth or worse.Landri isn't an awful backup, he's played that role before in this league and can manage it. While we have zero depth at many other spots.
I'd be pleased with the first 3 picks.Rounds 3 and 4 idk, but idk what your options were either
The Bucs TE position is like our qb position, we need solid veteran experience to pair with the high potential rookies at those positions. We Need Oline/Dline help. If we can pick up solid veteran experience in the trenches, I could see the draft board changing.

Ferguson is starter talent that got pushed down because of other players being taken, there were some massive jerry jones style overdrafts like Jarvis Landry and Odell beckham both going in the 1st round and a few others. I already addressed WR and I think a receiving corps of Vjax, MWill, Cooks, and Underwood is pretty solid. I looked at CB but there wasn't anyone available that rated highly enough for me to take in the 3rd or 4th especially over the two players I took

that's why I got 1 rookie that can come in and start and im hoping we can pick up a guy like alex mack or someone like that that is a plug and play in FA

those were honestly the best players available when I chose. there were a couple other guys there but id already hit those positions and we didn't need to double up on themwhen I picked Cooks at the end of the 2nd you should have seen how many people started cussing me out and cussing themselves for forgetting him, same with Ferguson

yep you didn't read the OP since this was a real actual draftKB was gone in the 1st. Dee Ford went early 2nd Garoppolo was gone in the 3rd Yankey wouldn't have been there at 62this post exemplifies why everyone on here is bitching about the draft I put up. if you don't read how it actually worked you don't understand the picks.
