I'd be pleased with the first 3 picks.Rounds 3 and 4 idk, but idk what your options were either
those were honestly the best players available when I chose. there were a couple other guys there but id already hit those positions and we didn't need to double up on themwhen I picked Cooks at the end of the 2nd you should have seen how many people started cussing me out and cussing themselves for forgetting him, same with Ferguson
when did Jimmy G go?
in the 3rd at some point IIRC before my 3rd round pick. to quantify this was before the Senior Bowl was played and obviously before the Combine. im still not sold on him yet to be willing to spend a 3rd on him. he was only OK at the Senior Bowl
Im doing a user mock draft on another website and I have the Bucs. We are doing a full 4 round mock right now and ive just completed my selections. How would you guys feel if this is how our first 4 rounds went? We allowed trades and movements.Trades I executedTraded #7 overall for #17 plus #34Traded #38 (Bucs original 2nd) for 31st pick in the 2nd and 31st pick in the 3rdGained an extra 2 and a 3Selections1st - Eric Ebron TE UNC2nd - David Yankey OG/OT Stanford2nd - Brandin Cooks WR Oregon State3rd - Ego Ferguson DT LSU4th - Marcus Smith DE LouisvilleI personally would be thrilled with this. I think it addresses our major needs and when combined with Free Agency can get us back to where we need to be. I wanted to get a DE earlier but there really wasn't any value when I came on the clock and I lost my target in the 3rd when someone traded 1 spot in front of me to take him. All in all it gets us a replacement at RT or OG, a playmaker in the slot, a major mismatch TE, 2 very good DL depth players than can easily develop into starters
Yankey and Cooks are great picks. Ebron isn't my favorite TE prospect as he doesn't have the height you look for in the red zone. I would go ASJ there.

yeah it all comes down to preference but TE was the pick. I went with the biggest mismatch TE on the board and that was Ebron. the Combine will change some minds as well and ASJ's off field concerns will get discussed in the interview phase
too much over thinking, not a fan of this draft even a little
I wish I had 31 friends to do this with. I think I would have a tough time passing on Matthews if he was still on the board. A blue chip LT is rare. I love me some Watkins, but I think I would take Matthews ahead of him.
Looks good man...I like the trading back and stock piling picks. If that were possible for us to do, I would be all for it.
I'd probably cry if Bortles fell to us and we passed. I mean big ol pathetic man tears. Below are my favorite 8 players from this draft....so it's hard to get excited about any mock that doesn't have at least one of them in it. I mean a mock is all about fantasy...so it's gotta have a least one of my faves for me to be excited. Honestly, I'd be disappointed if we did all that trading back and moving around and ended up with the group of players in that mock. QB Blake BortlesQB Johnny Manziel DT Aaron DonaldTE Austin Seferian-JenkinsCB Justin GilbertWR Jarvis LandryWR Josh HuffDE Michael Sam

A lot of folks have Robinson as the top LT now. Matthews, from what I read and hear, is a technician but gets overpowered pretty often. Robinson is not as polished with his technique, but he is a straight man beast.

well im glad that I don't give a shit what you think. if you cant even give a reason why you don't like it then I could care less what you have to sayreading half the posts ITT by our other posters confirms to me that the majority of our fanbase knows little to nothing about football and the draft process

well its impossible to get them all so I don't know what you are expecting. 4 of the guys you listed are 1st rounders so its impossible for us to get more than one. Huff will be around in the 5th and we only went to the 4th round.don't get your hopes up because we aren't getting Manziel and probably not Bortles either. I doubt we get Donald because we aren't drafting him at 7. ASJ is a possibility, Huff is a possibility but all the others will be gone around our picks
Looks decent, but I want to see what we do in Free Agency before I even start worrying about mock drafts and who were going to take. In this scenario, we better be getting a good pass rusher through FA.
Don't be butt hurt Dex. I was just being honest. It's not like I think you suck. We just like different players and are hoping for drastically different drafts. There really is no right or wrong. For the record I would hate those first two picks. They just aren't my first choice. Also, with your second trade....that doesn't seem good. You'd give up the 38th pick and receive the 63rd and 95th? That just doesn't seem like enough in return for such a high 2nd rounder.

im not pissed with you, more of the other folks in here. yeah that trade wasn't great but in a 3 round mock(at the time we traded, we expanded to the extra round a week later and I would have asked for more if we had more rounds) with no future picks you cant ask for too much. im shocked I got the #34 pick to just move back 10 spots in the 1stI also wouldn't say that theres no right or wrong with drafting. there are plenty of wrong picks that can be made. QB IMO in this years class is a wrong pick at 7. in a sane world none of these qbs goes before the mid 1st

I like it. I love Ebron, but not at #7.

well youre in luck because I took him at 17 after the trade. a TE in the top 10 is crazy
