Im doing a user mock draft on another website and I have the Bucs. We are doing a full 4 round mock right now and ive just completed my selections. How would you guys feel if this is how our first 4 rounds went? We allowed trades and movements.Trades I executedTraded #7 overall for #17 plus #34Traded #38 (Bucs original 2nd) for 31st pick in the 2nd and 31st pick in the 3rdGained an extra 2 and a 3Selections1st - Eric Ebron TE UNC2nd - David Yankey OG/OT Stanford2nd - Brandin Cooks WR Oregon State3rd - Ego Ferguson DT LSU4th - Marcus Smith DE LouisvilleI personally would be thrilled with this. I think it addresses our major needs and when combined with Free Agency can get us back to where we need to be. I wanted to get a DE earlier but there really wasn't any value when I came on the clock and I lost my target in the 3rd when someone traded 1 spot in front of me to take him. All in all it gets us a replacement at RT or OG, a playmaker in the slot, a major mismatch TE, 2 very good DL depth players than can easily develop into starters
I like it. I love Ebron, but not at #7.
well youre in luck because I took him at 17 after the trade. a TE in the top 10 is crazy
Ya. that is what I was agreeing with.

yep you didn't read the OP since this was a real actual draftKB was gone in the 1st. Dee Ford went early 2nd Garoppolo was gone in the 3rd Yankey wouldn't have been there at 62this post exemplifies why everyone on here is **CENSORED**ing about the draft I put up. if you don't read how it actually worked you don't understand the picks. Jesus
Read?! I don't have time for that....
too much over thinking, not a fan of this draft even a little
well im glad that I don't give a **CENSORED** what you think. if you cant even give a reason why you don't like it then I could care less what you have to sayreading half the posts ITT by our other posters confirms to me that the majority of our fanbase knows little to nothing about football and the draft process
no need to get offended because I thought your attempt at playing jr GM wasn't the best..geez, relaxas to why...the trades were unrealistic, and the players not players I would take for Bucs..hence too much thinking and not a fan of
Yankey does look like a stud though. Couldn't be mad at that pick. If we got Mack in FA and drafted Yankey.....our O-line might finally live up to the hype!

I like the first two picks but I am not very familiar with the rest of the players honestly. I really think we need to focus on offense more. Other than a one dimensional undersized rush LB with a mid to late pick I would prefer all offense.
Not bad. I could live with that. Honestly if the Bucs do decide to go with Glennon this year then I don't see the Bucs adding a TE early in the draft. The chemistry that Glennon and Wright have on the field was one of the few bright spots on offense this year. I personally don't start my Mock Drafts until after free agency. If the Bucs address the OL, QB and DE via Free Agency then I could see your scenario. Personally I could see the Rams at #13 wanting to trade up to #7. the Bucs could get the Rams 2nd rounder and a 6th in exchange.
Should have used that 17th overall on someone like Kony Ealy or even Dee Ford.A TE like Ebron is a luxury but not a necessity. Tim Wright combined with any mediocre blocking TE can get the job done for us.We are toast without an edge rusher .

Ealy was off the board at that point and it was done before Dee Ford blew up the Senior Bowlim sure you can believe that it takes an eternity to do a draft like this online. getting 32 people in different timezones with different work schedules to do anything coordinated is almost impossible. the 1st round was completed 2 weeks ago
I like it, though I would have tried to get Garropolo if he was still there in the 3rd, even if I had to trade up a bit to take him. I really like Cooks, he could be a dangerous weapon in the slot. Tedford did talk about adding "speed in space", and Ebron and Cooks would certainly do that.

kinda my reasoning for taking them
Ahhhh I see. Admitedly I didnt know who Dee Ford was until recently either. I noticed some beastly end get held a couple times at the end of the BCS champ game , but didnt know who he was.

Wright is horrible at blocking. Great receiving TE though. So they could be in the market for a blocking TE, or a blocking/receiving TE. But Wright is not going anywhere, they just need a TE to compliment Wrights skills.
I don't like it. While I'm not a fan of grabbing a TE I suppose I wouldn't hate that in particular though it doesn't address the need for speed, but I am not into drafting anything for the D-line this season. lay into the OL, that is our problem area. And we need to draft a QB. Don't see that as optional.
I think it was a very good effort Dex. Dropping 10 spots and picking up #34 was pretty nice. I would have a hard time passing on one of the OTs, but that trade would make me think about it. Overall walking away from the top 4 rounds with a TE, slot WR, an oline and 2 dline would be a nice haul. Very good value.
Wright was 50/50 as an inline blocker this past season and with an off season to add 10-15 lbs (which is very doable), without slowing him down, he will be satisfactory. Ebron is nice though because he can do it all and having him with Wright would make the offense very dynamic.
