I am on the fence about this topic. On one hand, I think that we are at a point where Richie could help us. I pay a lot of money for my season tickets and I am not there to watch us lose. I am not looking for Richie to come in and date my sister. I don’t need a moral's coach. I agree there are a lot of NFL players that are equally as bad or worse than Richie. A good number of them have played for the Bucs -- Stevens, Talib, Blount, Winslow jr. Means, just to name a few. What about everyone on the 2012 New Orleans' team -- shouldn’t they all be removed as well? Webster defines bullying as "the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others." If that’s the case, toss Jonathan Casillas on that list too. On the other hand, I don’t want another year of drama. If I want drama, I can watch a movie or Jerry Springer. I want to go to games and be proud of the product on the field as well as not concerned that the weekend is approaching and will all 53 players stay out of the local and national news. It's just easier to not have Richie here.I am not sure if I can fault Richie for all of the stuff that happened in Miami. Hazing exists in places where it is either condoned or privately accepted. So I think some of the issues that happened in Miami are a result of the Dolphins' organization. If the Dolphins' organization (which I don’t believe had no idea that this was happening) stopped it before it was out of control, then this would never have been a topic. Now the racial and homophobic stuff -- that’s because he had a poor upbringing and it's inexcusable. I also blame the Buc's coaching staff for putting us in a position where we have to even entertain a visit with Richie. While Sims has the potential to become a great RB, it doesn’t do a bit of good if he can't make it past the line of scrimmage -- regardless of if he is hurt now or not. I would say the same thing about ASJ. If we as fans and NFL analyst could recognize this as a concern before the draft, then why would we wait so long to get OL players? Rhetorical question.
