I think that we almost have to trade down in the first... and then trade back into the first (from the 2nd)... so that we end up with two 1st round picks.
Why? Because the guy who we really need for the 3/4 defense is the third dlinmen (to start next to Vea and McCoy). Currently, unless I am missing something, that 3rd guy is Gholston. Geez, I hope not! JPP will be an OLB in this scheme. The issue is that the only guy who fits the bill at the top of the draft is Williams, and he won't be there at #5. If he isn't there at #5, then there isn't really anyone else to sub out for him. If we trade down, then we can take a guy like Christian Wilkins or Dexter Lawrence.
The reason I want to trade out of the 2nd round is because we have drafted so terribly there. If we trade back into the 1st, then my hope is to draft the best OL available.
